I wanted 3. I've got 2.

Angrywife · 03/08/2021 22:24

Didn't have a number in mind.
Got 3, want more, can't have more

NotACompleterFinis · 03/08/2021 22:25

Wanted 0 in my grand plans for adulthood, had 4 plus 2 steps. 😂

ToffeePennie · 03/08/2021 22:27

I wanted 0.
I now have 2. They are my pride and joy, but I really didn’t want them before I had them.

Newmum29 · 03/08/2021 22:36

Wanted 2 or 3, have 1 (so far)

bellie710 · 03/08/2021 22:50

Ifeelsuchafool · 03/08/2021 22:52

Wanted 5 have 3. Too late now for any more. That boat sailed and I'm now divorced and my kids are adults aged 30, 28 and 26

Kirstyhewlett2018 · 03/08/2021 22:59

0 and got 2 but I wouldn’t change it for the world 🥰

Loopy12345 · 03/08/2021 23:08

I’ve got 3, I wanted 5/6 (very least 4) but last baby ended up having major surgery due to genetic issues, we didn’t know ‘were a thing’ (super outting to say what, it’s pretty rare) now we know it’s 50/50 to happen to us again, it’s a no go after years of hospital for the youngest making sure and so that’s our lot 🥲

TheMagicDeckchair · 03/08/2021 23:23

Wanted 1 or maybe 2, I have 3.

It took years of TTC and IVF cycles to have my first. She was hard work and we thought we wouldn’t/couldn’t have more, rolled the dice and conceived boy twins naturally.

I adore them all, happy with how it turned out but I wouldn’t put myself through another pregnancy. Definitely done.

Mamanyt · 03/08/2021 23:40

0 and 2. And although I would not take a billion dollars for either one of them, neither would I give you a PENNY for another just like either one of them.

Marriedatfirstyear · 03/08/2021 23:48

Would have loved 2 or 4 but have none. Praying for a miracle. 🤞

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you xx
Motherofatruck · 04/08/2021 00:08

Wanted 3. I have 2, but only 1 with me. My first was stillborn and when my second arrived safely 4yrs later I was so relieved but never wanted to go through another pregnancy again! So much worry for what seems like such a long time... I don't think my nerves could handle it Sad

Topsyturveymam · 04/08/2021 00:41

Wanted 2 but have 1 ivf miracle. Grateful for the child I have x

sunshinemode · 04/08/2021 00:42

Wanted lots have one

mamabear715 · 04/08/2021 00:43

Wanted 1, had 7!
The more you have, you think oh, another one won't make any difference.. ;-)
Married more than once, so that was another reason.
Lost lots too, so I didn't get away scot free. I was verbally attacked after one bad miscarriage by a would-be mum in hospital, telling me I should be happy with my then 6. Hurtful but I often wonder whether she did get a baby.. my heart goes out to women longing for babies..

Mothership4two · 04/08/2021 01:56

Wanted 2 had 2

AlwaysLatte · 04/08/2021 02:04

I used to want 3 or 4. I have two with my husband and he had two already (grown up!). I'm glad I don't have to split my time and attention further.

MrsCplus · 04/08/2021 02:35

I wanted 5, husband wanted 2. Have 4 😂

Onestep2021 · 04/08/2021 03:34

Got a candle lit for you!
smaragda · 04/08/2021 05:38

Wanted 4, husband wouldn't go higher than 3-i NEVER wanted three, so we stuck on two. I managed a boy and a girl so am happy 😁

Recessed · 04/08/2021 05:49

Always wanted three - the "ideal" being two girls and a boy in that order. Had two girls, realised the raw deal many women get when they have children, became somewhat of a misandrist due to their useless father and absolutely refused to risk bringing another useless male into the world!

Now my post natal rage has subsided I'm still very happy to have stopped at two. It's the smartest move I've made, as I would never have coped well with three regardless of the circumstances.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 04/08/2021 06:03

Wanted 2.
Had ds.
Wanted 4.
Had dd.
No longer wanted 4 and went back to 2.
