Butter and marmite? DH has just walked in mid-breakfast prep and is HORRIFIED! I've never eaten it any other way...

I'm about to up the ante in the Extreme Weetabix Eating Stakes - my boss eats hers (at work for all to see) with Marmite (no butter) and sliced bananas on top!

This thread gas got me tjinling , whike i kije thdm buttered with jam , i wonder what tgey would be like if you butterd tgem them put them under the grill just long enough to melt thw butter into it then add jam / marmite / nut butter . .

Would they go soggy or would the butter just drip straight through and make even more mess.

Butter, peanut butter and sliced banana is also a winner atop Weetabix

As kids we often had weetabix with a thick layer of butter on top, but marmite no. But with a Sunday roast we often had Yorkshire pudding with golden syrup drizzled on top.

The last as a pudding, not as part of the main course.

I was also a child of the 1970s.

Crunch buttered weetabix! I thought my ds7 was weird for eating dry Frosties, no milk or anything.

Crunchy buttered weetabix I meant. Couldn’t imagine it myself but I suppose it’s not a bad breakfast really.
