Butter and marmite? DH has just walked in mid-breakfast prep and is HORRIFIED! I've never eaten it any other way...

My son loves warm weetabix with bread and butter. Dips his bread in it, or spreads it on like a sandwich. He’s 22 now, and has had it this way for years. I used to have to leave the room when he had it, as it made me feel sick watching him.

I used to have them with butter and sugar sprinkled on top so I don't think it's wierd but I hate milk on all cereals.

My mum used to pack this (though the Aussie equivelant, Weet-bix with butter and vegemite) in our lunch boxes when we were out of bread. I don’t remember hating it, certainly haven’t felt the need to revisit though...

I started eating weetabix like this as a kid because I hate soggy cereal! I'm certainly not old now 😂

Absolutely bizarre. I cannot stand weetabix, but surely it is eaten in a bowl with milk.

Ooh it's years since I buttered weetabix , I like it with proper butter and blackcurrant jam.

I got into the habit of buying the mini ones and buttering and jamming about 10 and keeping in the fridge and snacking on them throughout the day .

Not unreasonable. But then I often trough the contents of the Hoover bag for a snack too, or handfuls of sand if I’m in a hurry. (not envy)
