Butter and marmite? DH has just walked in mid-breakfast prep and is HORRIFIED! I've never eaten it any other way...

@AbsolutelyPatsy, they are a bit fiddly to put toppings on but much less messy to eat .

I've never found anyone else to eat weetabix with butter! I love it and my husband is baffled. Although friends have agreed it's good when I've convinced them to try it

@opinionminion my dad brought us up to have butter and jam too! Op, I don’t think Marmite is totally crazy. I could never have Weetabix with milk. That’s just horrible!

Weetabix with lots of butter and marmalade fan here, also brought up using Bovril as a spread and was horrified to think of people using it to make a drink..!

Whilst (as a marmite lover) I do not think that it sounds awful. And I could possibly imagine eating it if I had no bread in, I do not understand, OP, why you would not prefer a nice thick slice of bread or toast to put your butter and marmite on? !!
