Locked parking thread 2

BlueEyesWhiteDragon · 01/08/2021 07:38

Sorry everyone I didn't post a new thread last night but I was a bit freaked out by the comment about finding me online at the end.

Anyway as the world's most boring update it is still here but someone is coming round about lunchtime to pick it up.

I rang 101 and reported it and that I was concerned they'd essentially vanished. They said there wasn't anything they could do about the car as its on private land but I could be liable for any damage if I moved it and that they would check on the registered owner.

I posted it on a couple of the local Facebook groups last night saying
"Anyone know whose cat this is? Please get them to contact me urgently on xxxx as itll be being towed tomorrow"

I had a response from the guys DS and she said she'd contact him and get him ring me. He hasn't rang me but she messaged me back to say he'd collect it at lunchtime if that was OK. I've said fine but we going out at at 2 so if he's not here before then he won't be able to get it till we get back later.

And that's it really.

I am beyond gobsmacked at the sheer brass neck of the CF. He is such a CF that a new phrase needs to be coined for this level of entitlement.

Does this not count as obstruction, if his car is stopping the OP from getting a quad bike or similar out on to the road?

I'm almost hoping for some sort of arboreal emergency that would require the FC to tow the vehicle off and leave it somewhere really inconvenient.

I am sat open-mouthed!!! What a cheeky bastard. I'd call the police at this point.

Noshowlomo · 01/08/2021 14:12

I already had a slight hangover headache and now it’s turning into a rage headache. The absolute cheeky prick !

PyjamaFan · 01/08/2021 14:12

Yes.

No toys, no notes, no messages to the sister or on Facebook or anywhere else.

Park your truck in front of the gate to prevent him from cutting the padlock off and driving away and carry on with your day.

wowzaa · 01/08/2021 14:12

@BlueEyesWhiteDragon

I am just posting in an apoplectic rage as he is still NOT here.

Worse than that according to his sister the fuxker is somewhere cycling in the bastard forest. Hes here somewhere but did not come to move his car first. Hes just gone off for a fucking cycle. In doing so he will have clearly seen the catpark is more empty than full. I. Argh.

The absolute cheek!!!!
1WayOrAnother2 · 01/08/2021 14:13

He chose your place as his free parking for the cycle holiday. Yes he is a CF.

However irritated you are and however keen to get rid of the car - please do make it inconvenient for him now .

(He is on holiday but will want to go home at some point and no doubt expects you to be so relieved to get rid of the car that you won't be any trouble to him.)

YorkshireLass2012 · 01/08/2021 14:13

Oh my. I am incredulous at the latest update!
Agree with PPs. Please don’t make contact any further OP. If the owner wants his car, he needs to make the next move. If that is after it has been towed away, so be it!

Glumgal · 01/08/2021 14:13

I expect the entitled f**ker wrongly assumed that the gate is normally unlocked and the OP was just being arsey locking his car in.

He is probably expects to just be able to collect his car without having to engage with anyone once the gate has been unlocked again.

I'd definitel tell whoever is on watch to ignore the door once you are out @BlueEyesWhiteDragon. Enjoy your carvery! x

Mountainpika · 01/08/2021 14:13

@BruceAndNosh If you want Yorkshire puddings but not with salmon, have them afterwards with lemon and sugar or something.

drizzleabit · 01/08/2021 14:13

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar

"It seems pointless dealing with this through an intermediary. You have my number, give it to him and tell him to contact me by text and I will let him know when it's convenient for me to unlock my gates."
This. I think you should do this.
bogoffmda · 01/08/2021 14:14

It is time to put some gloves on and something will disappear up the exhaust and some prawns along the edge of the bonnet stuffed deep so they start to cook. ( not vandalism just smelly)

And it would appear a very large flying hen has pooped on his roof and bonnet !

A strategically placed nail under the rear wheel so as he reverses it punctures his tire.

You live on a farm - there must be some mice who fancy a run over the paint work.

Or alternatively open the gate and move all your farm vehicles in to the field and surround his car!

BruceAndNosh · 01/08/2021 14:14

I am so invested in this thread that I didn't notice it was chucking it down with rain and my washing is soaked instead of drying.
This is all parking wankers fault.

KatherineOfGaunt · 01/08/2021 14:14

Seek legal advice before getting it towed, apparently:

Yesitsbess · 01/08/2021 14:15

He's gone for a what? Angry

Lock up, block up, go out, ignore the sister. Forestry commission will be back on duty on Monday I assume? Let them deal with him. What a cockjuggling thundercunt.

ZaZatheHo · 01/08/2021 14:17

I would imagine the OP is at the carvery filling her Birthday boots. She isn't going to reply to anyone be it MN or CF Parker's DSis until she is fully replete. She will then saunter home and have a post lunch snooze so won't hear the door should anyone come knocking.

BruceAndNosh · 01/08/2021 14:18

Yep.
Do FC use track every day?

KatherineOfGaunt · 01/08/2021 14:18

@Eliana1981 - I think that poster was just placemarking, by pretending they were walking by but actually agog to find out what happens.

NeedNewKnees · 01/08/2021 14:18

I missed OP saying the jackass was on holiday. Where did you see that?
ifIwerenotanandroid · 01/08/2021 14:18

I second getting the Forestry Commission to deal with it tomorrow.

dapsnotplimsolls · 01/08/2021 14:19

I hope you haven't replied and that you've blocked the gate and are now on your merry way to the pub.

sandragreen · 01/08/2021 14:19

Yeah I am not convinced the "sister" is legit and not just a random local Mumsnetter having a laugh at your expense OP. I would block her on FB, block the gates and go out for a few hours.

Bigassbeebuzzbuzz · 01/08/2021 14:22

I cant believe the cfuckery of some people. I will admit I did check on some cars in my street this morning just in case they were this cf

No further contact with the cheeky fuckers sister.

I'd be arranging to be away for a week starting this evening. He's totally taking the piss!!
