Sorry everyone I didn't post a new thread last night but I was a bit freaked out by the comment about finding me online at the end.

Anyway as the world's most boring update it is still here but someone is coming round about lunchtime to pick it up.

I rang 101 and reported it and that I was concerned they'd essentially vanished. They said there wasn't anything they could do about the car as its on private land but I could be liable for any damage if I moved it and that they would check on the registered owner.

I posted it on a couple of the local Facebook groups last night saying
"Anyone know whose cat this is? Please get them to contact me urgently on xxxx as itll be being towed tomorrow"

I had a response from the guys DS and she said she'd contact him and get him ring me. He hasn't rang me but she messaged me back to say he'd collect it at lunchtime if that was OK. I've said fine but we going out at at 2 so if he's not here before then he won't be able to get it till we get back later.

And that's it really.

Leave for the day. Make sure the gate stays locked and shut; might want to put a big vehicle in front of it so cutting the locks won't free him.

Leave a note saying farm wake up time Monday morning is the next time you'll be willing to meet him for your apology and to open the gate. 6, 7 am.

Go out, take the keys for the gate with you. Don't engage with him or his sister anymore. No replying to messages, no agreeing to times etc just ignore.

DB has surrounded his car with cuddly toys due to the apparently appalling lack of toy soldiers and is in the process of erecting a sign that says caution wild animals on guard.

Worse than that according to his sister the fuxker is somewhere cycling in the bastard forest. Hes here somewhere but did not come to move his car first. Hes just gone off for a fucking cycle. In doing so he will have clearly seen the catpark is more empty than full. I. Argh.

Reminded me of when we met up with and American friend in a European city. He parked his hire car and overstayed tge time limit. When he got back to it he had been ticketed and clamped. The instructions on the back of the ticket said that the office to pay the fine in order to get it released was open until 7pm so he figured he might as well leave the car where it was and pay the fine at 6.50pm to save himself paying for further parking. I'm guessing your CFer is doing the same!

I'm trying to compose a reply to his Dsis but all I've got is either an absolute rant.
