Sorry everyone I didn't post a new thread last night but I was a bit freaked out by the comment about finding me online at the end.

Anyway as the world's most boring update it is still here but someone is coming round about lunchtime to pick it up.

I rang 101 and reported it and that I was concerned they'd essentially vanished. They said there wasn't anything they could do about the car as its on private land but I could be liable for any damage if I moved it and that they would check on the registered owner.

I posted it on a couple of the local Facebook groups last night saying
"Anyone know whose cat this is? Please get them to contact me urgently on xxxx as itll be being towed tomorrow"

I had a response from the guys DS and she said she'd contact him and get him ring me. He hasn't rang me but she messaged me back to say he'd collect it at lunchtime if that was OK. I've said fine but we going out at at 2 so if he's not here before then he won't be able to get it till we get back later.

And that's it really.

He's late considering OP asked him to get there in 45 minutes. 55 minutes ago...

Maybe he got there 20 mins ago and has been apologising profusely for 15 mins and spent 5 more showing her with gifts and carvery vouchers

I would leave a vehicle across the gates when you go out if possible. He may be thinking that you will either leave them open for him or may damage your locks.

Hopefully, op will show who is boss by not being in after two 😆

Go out. Message the sister and say that you will be calling a tow truck if he doesn't come by 9am tomorrow. Then go about your day, don't wait about for him. I think we can be confident he/somebody close to him is on this thread.
