Not fucking nachos!!!!

In brief, I ordered a side of nachos to go with my dinner. I'm bitterly disappointed. Before I share what arrived, what would the world of Mumsnet expect to receive? (Pretty sure IANBU to say that these are NOT nachos!!!!)

As a side order… some plain tortilla chips?

Dry pieces of pitta bread? A friend of mine ordered nachos and received such an abomination a few weeks ago.

I'm betting the OP received something like one of my colleagues was once given in a hotel on a work trip - a plate of Doritos with what looked like either ketchup or tomato ketchup squirted over. No cheese because that had run out apparently.

Needless to say he didn't eat it.

I want nachos now.

I think you need to reveal the horror op before I go to the shops in my pjs for guacamole and corn chips.

Reminds me of the time I ordered Caesar salad in Wetherspoons- two pieces of lettuce, dry chicken breast and a few cubes of cheddar. Inedible.

I agree that nacho are best made at home. Nothing worse than ordering a meal and having it be a bitter disappointment.
