Random car parked on my drive!

dh has just come back from work and parked across the road. I asked why he hasn't parked on our driveway and he said he thought we had visitors.
I've gone out and there's a random car on our driveway! Knocked on neighbours door but they don't know who's it is. (They are really nice and we get on with them so they would have told them to move if it was anything to do with them).
AIBU to move the car and block them in?

Who does that! 🤣.

Let the air out the tyres...

🍿 👀.

CoffeeRunner · 23/07/2021 21:17

Why oh why would somebody do that?

BillyIsMyBunny · 23/07/2021 21:18

Seems very odd.

AtlasPine · 23/07/2021 21:18

Maybe it’s an old friend rushing to her daughter’s bedside as she has her first baby. Or many it’s a random cheeky bastard. Either way - keep us posted!

Badgerstmary · 23/07/2021 21:18

Fab diagram op & well done for blocking them in. Can’t wait for the update.

PineappleWilson · 23/07/2021 21:19

Are there any cut throughs near your house, or roads of a similar name to yours? There's been a thread before where the owner of 24 Telford Drive, for example, gave a friend permission to park on their drive. The friend got mixed up and parked at 24 Telford Street, whose owner started a CF parking thread on here Grin.

@PearPickingPorky

No it's a private road on estate

BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 23/07/2021 21:23

You really have to answer the door wearing it

Muma1992 · 23/07/2021 21:24

This is just odd?

yellowsofa · 23/07/2021 21:24

Blatantly placemarking

Hollyhocksarenotmessy · 23/07/2021 21:25

Go to bed early, and get up late.

@HappyBirthdayMrPresident

Whoop another parking thread we are being spoiled today Grin
Ooooh! Has there been another one today?!? Brew
thenightsky · 23/07/2021 21:27

@UftUft

Shitty diagram attached.

Can't see driveway from window it's at side of house. I did hear a car parking up but thought it was next door.

As you can see we've parked the car on the drive in front of car.

Blatant cheeky fuckery parking there.
LemonySippet · 23/07/2021 21:27

Is it still warm there OP? Could you take your garden chairs out and go and drink your wine on the drive to watch them return shamefaced? We can't have you missing any of the action now...

Branster · 23/07/2021 21:28

It's nit a car you won in a competition and keys are in the ignition at the ready for you?

Maybe it is a getaway car and it's been abandoned.

Or a stolen car left there for safekeeping until they come back to claim it.

NeverButterkist · 23/07/2021 21:28

Wine poured and corn popped

Annoy · 23/07/2021 21:29

Ooh I’m excited for the update 🙈

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 23/07/2021 21:30
  1. Might be a dog in there, so I would break a window - it could get very warm tonight...
  1. Pour a pint if milk into the slots at the front of the windscreen. It's where the 'fresh air' taken from in a car.
