Random car parked on my drive!

dh has just come back from work and parked across the road. I asked why he hasn't parked on our driveway and he said he thought we had visitors.
I've gone out and there's a random car on our driveway! Knocked on neighbours door but they don't know who's it is. (They are really nice and we get on with them so they would have told them to move if it was anything to do with them).
AIBU to move the car and block them in?

100% block them in. Then set it on fire.

Mansplainee · 23/07/2021 20:50

Ooh, definitely block it in OP. And come back to tell us what happened.

ladymuck111 · 23/07/2021 20:50

CliffsofMohair · 23/07/2021 20:50

@AllThatFancyPaintsAsFair

It must be National block a drive day, I just read another thread about a CF parker Grin
There should be t shirts
Aqua55 · 23/07/2021 20:50

You do realise, that if you block them in, they can call the Police and have your car removed?

Mansplainee · 23/07/2021 20:50

100% block them in. Then set it on fire.

Bit extreme 😂

Bluntness100 · 23/07/2021 20:50

You can’t see your driveway from your house? So is it seperate from the propert?

TheSunShinesBrighter · 23/07/2021 20:52

Of course you block them in.

Having started this thread you are now expected to update us every 10 mins.
Thank you.

thefirstmrsrochester · 23/07/2021 20:52

You do need to block them in, not because you can, but because we need to know who has parked there and why. If you don’t block them in, the risk of them returning unseen and driving away is high and thus we are denied the conclusion to the perfect Friday night thread Smile

TheSunShinesBrighter · 23/07/2021 20:52

@JesusIsAnyNameFree

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Twizbe · 23/07/2021 20:52

Block it in

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 23/07/2021 20:53

Block in for sure and have a Friday night drink so you can’t move it

Bargebill19 · 23/07/2021 20:54

Er - diagram?!!!🤣

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 23/07/2021 20:55

Have they left a window down a touch because of the heat? Fill the car with spiders or baked beans

Wombat64 · 23/07/2021 20:55

Can you get it recovered, if it is on your private property?

I know this would cost £££ but somewhere in the universe, a CF would pick the driveway of a tow truck operator. 😊

Notaroadrunner · 23/07/2021 20:55

Yes, block it in.

TheSunShinesBrighter · 23/07/2021 20:55

@Aqua55

You do realise, that if you block them in, they can call the Police and have your car removed?
You seem very sure about that.

I doubt they the police would rush out to an ‘emergency’ such as this on a Friday night.

rubbletrouble · 23/07/2021 20:56

So you have had 12 minutes and still no diagram, I am wholly (??) disappointed WinkWink

Also I would have blocked them in within 2 minutes, come on, update !?

Please don't let this be silly and it have a twist that it all makes sense.

carlywurly · 23/07/2021 20:57

This happened to me and it turned out a hire car had been delivered to the wrong address. Keys were posted through my letterbox though. Thought I'd won a competition I'd forgotten entering for a minute Grin

Bargebill19 · 23/07/2021 20:57

@Aqua55

And the op can counter sue for trespass.

Magenta82 · 23/07/2021 20:57

Let down their tyres, and then post a diagram

Wombat64 · 23/07/2021 20:58

Apparently this happens more than you'd expect.
