Random car parked on my drive!

dh has just come back from work and parked across the road. I asked why he hasn't parked on our driveway and he said he thought we had visitors.
I've gone out and there's a random car on our driveway! Knocked on neighbours door but they don't know who's it is. (They are really nice and we get on with them so they would have told them to move if it was anything to do with them).
AIBU to move the car and block them in?

I'd have it towed.

This happened to me and it turned out a hire car had been delivered to the wrong address. Keys were posted through my letterbox though. Thought I'd won a competition I'd forgotten entering for a minute

You must live near me. I get hire cars delivered nearly every week and this has happened more than once.

Aqua is right unfortunately. It's illegal to block someone in and not let them leave, under the same law that stops a car park operator clamping you because you paid for 60 minutes and stayed for 61. Though I think there's a loophole if the blocking in is by a gate or barrier.

Can't see driveway from window it's at side of house. I did hear a car parking up but thought it was next door.

As you can see we've parked the car on the drive in front of car.

We'll get someone posting in a minute to say Op is very lucky to have a drive and should think of the person who had to park there. ..cue long fantasy of emergency appointment by a surgeon or the driver giving blood or some far fetched scenario .

Though there was a similar post a long time ago when car owner got the wrong address of a pay to park in my drive type thing...anyway yeah block it in then burn it ..

I honestly can’t believe that anyone would have the audacity to park on someone’s drive!!

My friend has a large drive, 4 ot 6 cars depending on the size and parking skill She discovered that the vendor of a house nearby was telling viewers that they'd be able to park there, she lives alone now and only has one car!

Block and wine is what I recommend
