I just think the money wasted on this court case with Rebekah vardy.

I know we all have our own opinions. I found the way Colleen dealt with it wrong personally. Rebekah was 7 months pregnant and she wasn't just causing stress to Rebekah but to her children too. She went all public about it and aired her dirty laundry in public whilst being angry about her own privacy.

I just saw an update and one of the things she said was Rebekah was sitting behind her at the 2016 euros to be seen even though it was someone else's seat. What a petty thing to say.

The whole thing is just ridiculous.

That whole WAG phenomenon was so weird. At the time (in Germany) Theo Walcott was the absolute new-boy and I saw a woman journo on TV talking about how his (17 year old) girlfriend could capitalise on it and make money frin being a WAG. Totally mesmerisingly horrifying.

Team Coleen here. I 100% believe RV was leaking shit to the press and I don’t blame Colleen one bit for being fed up. Now whether Colleen can prove it remains to be seen. It’s unfortunate she has to now prove it was Rebekah personally rather than just someone with access to her account. Will RV have to state in court who has access to her account? Because if she’s saying it’s not her won’t she have to pin the blame on someone else?

I don't think so. Rooney has something to prove, not Vardy.

I don't think Rebekah is tacky!!! It's a lovely spelling.But because of Rebekah Vardy, people think it's tacky. I don't know much about legal stuff but maybe this case could have interesting implications for what can be said on social media platforms. And hopefully people may be more careful in the future. In hindsight Colleen should have reacted by blocking Rebekah and dealt with this privately but likely she was just really cross and responded emotionally.

Just think how many Chanel handbags and holidays they could have had if they used the block button Instead lol.

At least you have footballers like Marcus rashford (I think) that made sure little kids tummy's didn't go hungry through the pandemic.

They both want the limelight they get through their husbands. They've both used their husbands' names to up their profile and make money. If Rooney hadn't tried to publicly humiliate someone else, she wouldn't be in court being condemned for spending money whilst many in the country are struggling to feed themselves. Vardy had 2 choices. Suck it up and wait for it to blow over, or sue. She decided to make the whole situation even worse by sobbing about it on telly.

She (CR) didn’t put it on a page where ‘everyone could see’. She suspected it was RV and so made stuff up, like going to a clinic in Mexico so she could choose the gender of her baby. These posts then ended up in The Sun. The posts were only visible to RV, hence her (epic, I think) statement to that effect.

If you had a column The Secret WAG wouldn't you just ask your friends if they'd make up or allow you to post gossip about them? It sounds like it was common knowledge that Rebekah was the columnist.

If you were in the public eye would you let a friend make up gossip about you for their gossip column? You'd let them say (heavily imply it was you) you were going for sex selection treatment so that every bitchy commenter would say what a cunt you are for not being happy with your male children in the rags and on Twitter? Or that you were using drugs, your husband was 'playing away'? The sort of shit a Secret WAG column consists of? It's not all hearts and flowers or the column would not be exciting to the readers. Given the stories were planted over many, many months, I’d personally doubt the hacking thing. But then I also think ‘my account was hacked’ became a tiresome excuse years ago. It’s on a par with the dog ate my homework.

Well to be fair, they've got a story of their own going on here. We could discuss the court case at length without ever mentioning their husbands.
