'Where Are They Now' if AIBU threads?

Do you even find yourself suddenly remembering a particular scenario, and wondering where the people involved are today, if the behaviour is still carrying on, did she ever LTB, etc?

Even if the thread had a resolution to the scenario, if things ever repeated again?

The one that came into my mind vividly today was about a woman who'd gone to collect her child (believe it was a DD) and came home to find that her husband had left the key in the door on the other side meaning they couldn't get in, and despite being able to see 'D'H in the window and signalling to him, he refused to come and open the door as he was on a work call? From memory they were left waiting for about an hour and DD had to wee in the garden.

I remember feeling so outraged for her, and find myself wondering now if it was just a one off or if the bastard has continued doing shitty things to them.

Any other ones that have left an impression?

I wondered about permashattered’s daughter for a while. She didn’t get into grammar school, then she struggled with her mental health. Would have been years ago now. Her dd is probably an adult! Maybe she’s even a mum on mumsnet….

I sometimes wonder about Hannah(I think her name was) who had a controlling husband and her MIL effectively stole her baby. I think she got it back in the end but wonder how she is doing.

People keep saying that the Span Gran “door into the garden” saga was fake but MN have never said it was a troll. As it ended the cowboy builders had done so much illegal damage that the OP was told it was unsafe to stay in her house as they’d damaged load bearing walls, the threads ended there are all humour was gone from it and it was incredibly sad and looking to be embroiled in legal proceedings for years as the owner of the other house scarpered. As far as I’m aware it was all sadly true as far as MN could tell.

The one lady who had a couple regularly frequent the bushes in her back garden for a shag. One was having an affair. She played Another Level loudly and freaked them out. I wonder if they ever came back after that.

@tentotwelve - I have often wondered about the American lady. I remember the neighbours used to come and look in her windows to see what changes they had made. One of the thread titles mentioned Royston Vasey and it was in the property topic. I think she mentioned the police were involved and she had to delete the threads. Her user name was Hooray or Sunshinehooray or something like that. I was intrigued with her tales and would love to know what happened. I hope she wasn't a troll too.

Years ago, there was a poster who used to come on the style or beauty threads and always suggested bonkers expensive clothes or beauty treatments. Puddles123 maybe? I remember her suggesting a 5k dress for a wedding and a Birkin as an every day bag.

I often wonder if she was genuine or on some kind of piss take.

And there was one which had to be taken down to protect the OP I think who had bought a house in a small village and was being harassed by neighbours or locals who wanted the house themselves. Every now and then I hope she's okay.

I often wonder about Wardrobes123 and her husband who was hospilatised with Covid at the beginning of the year, and against all the odds appeared to be recovering. I hope he continued to get well and they're all ok.

I often wonder what happened to CoatsProtectionLeague, who’s husband sent her naked photos by mistake and she very carefully and cleverly planned to leave him and take as much with her as she could.

Many years ago there was a poster who was homeless. I remember several threads, but the thing that stood out was her travelling around on busses all night just to have somewhere warm to be.

I often hope she was OK and got back on her feet.

Sadly not. Recently seen warming nuts for a little garden supper for ten and debating whether it would be good form to watch the football between courses.

Also there was one about fashion mistakes. I think the op bought a white coat but instead of having the desired effect, she said she looked like a middle aged taekondo instructor.

One where a lady was being so horribly abused by her husband. She used to get up in the night to feed their baby and he would make her have sex with him for hours. Loads of other stuff came out and it all made me feel sick for her.

Birdie Friend made a lot of woolly "predictions" that could be stretched to fit all sorts of situations and people seized upon any detail that looked like real events while ignoring the many bits that didn't. The poster got lucky with Covid, which was on the horizon at the time of the thread anyway, although if it hadn't happened I'm sure there would have been something that could have been made to fit.

Is she the lady who reckons she's FWB with Tom Hiddleston? She was apparently on a booty call with him in LA and excitedly posting about it, at exactly the same time the actor was photographed waking his dog (alone) in London. She disappeared after that, but apparently she's resurfaced elsewhere in the last few days, with the same fantasy lifestyle of hobnobbing with and shagging the rich and famous.

You know, I was never sure if the Span Gran saga was fake. I followed it as it was amusing, and never saw anything that definitely said it was a troll, only that it was now going through the legal process, and OP couldn't update.

However, the one I remember is a lot more trivial. The OP's nephew was to be a page boy, and the OP's sister or SIL was threatening to let him dye his hair green before the wedding, not after. OP wasn't happy at the idea, because photos, but never came back to update.
