Sickened by PDA

BIL and SIL are constantly kissing and stroking one another. Now that she is pregnant there's a lot of bump kisses and bump strokes. DH once told them to keep things private and we were told by BIL that they do much more in private 🤢

It's really becoming sickening. AIBU to not want to spend time with them

Can you have that sleazy porn music stored on your phone and press play when the action starts?

Cocolapew · 11/07/2021 10:11

@saveforthat

No advice but this reminded me of the worst pda I ever saw. I was walking with my dog and son along the seafront and saw a man who was about 6 foot away from a woman stick his tongue out as far as it would go. She ran across to him and latched on to it.
😯 were they lizards?

Dry humping is. The other stuff could just be affectionate. I'll often have a cuddle with my husband in front of others and we'll kiss. Not all tha time but we do.
I won't confine it to the bedroom just because others don't like it.
As I said if it bothers the OP so much just go to MIL when they aren't there.

Again, if something makes someone uncomfortable then they have the right to remove themselves from the situation or not invite them to their houses. But if that's the kind of people they are, they're not going to change. If PDA makes someone "sickened" that's their problem. Not the couple showing affection to one another.[/quote]
Breast stroking in public isn't 'affection '

@BastardMonkfish

Get a water bottle and squirt them with it when they start.
😂😂😂😂

Could they control themselves if their boss was in the room? Or small children? If yes, then they can around family.

If not ewwwwwww. And put bromide in the tea ☕️

Good question

@Tiari

he would creepily stroke her and kiss her neck while she was trying to talk

This is so weird it made me laugh.
Tell us more please SirVixofVixHall
what kind of work environment was it, what did other people say/do?

My mind is boggling here!!

We all pretended to ignore it and then made “ugggggh” faces at each other as we left. It was a relatively informal work thing, a bit like a workshop, but even so it was v strange.
