It's wonderful. Fragrant, spicy and delicious. There is nothing i wouldn't do for pho

PeggyArmstrong · 07/07/2021 18:17

@YouShouldLeave

How about you share your own preferences instead of just starting threads trolling for other peoples' opinions??

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 07/07/2021 18:19

Japanese
Thai
Chinese
(any cuisine that does dumplings - polish sauerkraut perogies are fab)

LadyJaye · 07/07/2021 18:22

I love Korean food (lived and worked in Seoul for a while, and I like to think I can serve up a dish of tteokbokki and banchan that even a Korean person would feel comfortable with!).

Also very fond of Levant cuisine - as a vegetarian, it's probably the easiest to adapt (apart from Indian).

Thai, Mexican, Ethiopian... tbh, I just like food. Grin

You can’t ask what people like?

And i answered your question on the other thread already.

@CurryLover55

Never tried Vietnamese
Vietnamese food is DELICIOUS - very big on fresh vegetables and herbs with 'sharp', clean spices.
RightOnTheEdge · 07/07/2021 18:24

Chinese! 😍

LoveFall · 07/07/2021 18:25

Vietnamese. Love Pho 🍲.

babbaloushka · 07/07/2021 18:30

Indian

PumpkinKlNG · 07/07/2021 18:31

Mexican or Caribbean. I would rate British the worst

Elys3 · 07/07/2021 18:37

Hard to pin down one - it depends on the quality of the ingredients

Ponoka7 · 07/07/2021 18:40

If I could manage the calories it would be British. If I had to choose another then Indian. I know a fantastic Punjabi chef who says KFC is his favourite food and he could easily live off it.

Essentialironingwater · 07/07/2021 18:40

Middle Eastern. Really good falafel (most food places and supermarkets in UK have dire versions), houmous, Baba ghanoush, muhammara, cous cous...etc.

Closely followed by south Indian.

Gatehouse77 · 07/07/2021 18:41

I couldn't pick one as I like bit of everything 😜

Zealois · 07/07/2021 18:42

LOVE Vietnamese, currently waiting in the car while DP collects some banh mis from our favourite Vietnamese place.

But also love Thai, Mexican, Indian, Korean, Greek, Japanese... There's not much I won't eat tbf!

Seesawmummadaw · 07/07/2021 18:44

Italian, Spanish, French and Thai.

If I had to choose then probably Italian.

@LadyJaye ooh Levant sounds interesting!

crosstalk · 07/07/2021 18:45

Lebanese, Syrian, French, Polish, Indian, Vietnamese. Some West African. Just food, really.

GirlAloud · 07/07/2021 18:45

Spain. The Basque food culture is amazing, Spanish seafood is the best in the world and the red wines aren’t bad, either.

ghostyslovesheets · 07/07/2021 18:47

Indian
UK
French

VeganVeal · 07/07/2021 18:47

central african republic

SmokedPaprikaHotChilliPowder · 07/07/2021 18:48

Mexican
Thai
Italian
English
American

FastFood · 07/07/2021 18:48

But if I have to choose, probably
Punjabi

Italian

Lonecatwithkitten · 07/07/2021 18:48

I love food, I adore world food.
Vietnamese - a big bowl of pho
Malay - a lovely Laska
Thai - mussaman curry
Japanese - ramen
Anything Mediterranean
Then there is wonderful French classic cooking
Belgium - moules frites
Balkans - goulash

Sleeplessem · 07/07/2021 18:48

Absolutely love authentic south East Asian food, so authentic Chinese, Japanese, Thai, viatnamese or Korean, as long as there’s no pork (don’t eat it for religious reasons)

Love Lebanese, Turkish and Greek too!

Love authentic Italian and southern french (not so much northern Parisian, too heavy and creamy)

alpinia · 07/07/2021 18:52

I'm going to add some additional votes for Persian, Korean and Georgian though there hasn't been a cuisine listed yet that I don't like Grin

A group of friends once organised an Alphabet dinner where each month you'd vote for a cuisine or country starting with whatever letter was next and find a restaurant or catering service to go test it out. Had some really interesting meals and I'd love to do it again some time.
