To hope someone can help me to remember this early 90s cartoon?

I first tried to remember this animated series about 20 years ago, and I think of it every few years but get nowhere. Googling never throws up the right programme, and you're about to realise why: I recall almost nothing about it

Here's what I recall:

CITV
Very early 90s, maybe late 80s but I'm fairly sure it's 90 something.
Theme tune reminded me of Ordinary World by Duran Duran
Animated
Set on an island/group of islands
Opening credits are an aerial view of the island (s)

It is not Charlie Chalk or Cockleshell Bay. It probably wasn't very long-lived.

I'm not holding out much hope, and appreciate that's not much to go on. Please help me to lay this to rest!

Ok, what about something my mum reckons I watched as a child; so 90s again: it was on for about 5-10mins, featured a little girl on an island. Was not Katy Morag.

For some reason I remember is as going ulyseeeeees no one else can do the things he do. Which clearly is grammatically incorrect.

Anyway my guess is watoo watoo because no one ever remembers is. In fact I’m not even sure if I dreamt it!

I remember Watoo Watoo! He was a weird little creature. Was it Australian perhaps?

I remember one about a girl staying at a stately home which I think was in an island , was called Moon dial but wouldn’t been about 20 mins long and wasn’t a cartoon

Doesn’t really fit your description.... but the start of Ordinary World is similar to the theme tune - The Hurricanes? I seem to remember they travelled to different places to play football.

princess falls off boat- POV is under water looking at boat, she falls down to the depths. She becomes very powerful- she has a necklace that she takes off and throws in the water that then comes back to her- it has superpowers

Can't find it at all but have clear, clear memories of it

Did they live in a lighthouse OP? I remember a similar sounding show, they recorded video diaries and lived in a lighthouse. Must have been the 90’s!

@forpeetssake dont want to argue but we are in 2021.
If you take 20 years off of that it will take you back to 2000s.
By no stretch of a very hopeful imagination can that become late 80s/early 90s that would be 30 to almost 40 years. Sorry.
