To hope someone can help me to remember this early 90s cartoon?

I first tried to remember this animated series about 20 years ago, and I think of it every few years but get nowhere. Googling never throws up the right programme, and you're about to realise why: I recall almost nothing about it

Here's what I recall:

CITV
Very early 90s, maybe late 80s but I'm fairly sure it's 90 something.
Theme tune reminded me of Ordinary World by Duran Duran
Animated
Set on an island/group of islands
Opening credits are an aerial view of the island (s)

It is not Charlie Chalk or Cockleshell Bay. It probably wasn't very long-lived.

I'm not holding out much hope, and appreciate that's not much to go on. Please help me to lay this to rest!

Oh I loved Vicki (Vikki?) the Viking. Was disappointed when I found out Vicki was a boy though. I still liked to imagine she was a girl.

Yes me too, I’d watched it from the start thinking vikki was a girl, my young brain couldn’t get used to the fact he was indeed a boy. So was easier to carry on watching as a girl!

OP I can't help with your query, as I don't recognise the description, however, someone will end up getting it. I posted in the past, trying to remember a really obscure 70s movie and someone got it from my very basic and terrible recollection.

Whilst we are remembering old CITV programmes, there has been one that has bothered me for years and years....

Around early or mid 90s. A live action where a boy gets sent to some sort of parallel land by accident (involving electrity) where he met a girl in a yellow outfit. I don't remember much, but at the end of the series they managed to wire up some contraption to send him back home. He gave her his Walkman as a parting gift as she was amazed to hear music on it.

Anyone remember pleeeeeease????
