Any Carers here who are not taking the vaccine?

It's apparently been confirmed now that it is compulsory for care home workers and other carers to take the vaccine.

I just got a job in a care home, and I've always said no to the vaccine. Mainly because of the things I've seen and read of people who've had the vaccine. Blood clots, death, rashes, and people still getting covid after taking the vaccine.

I don't know what to do now.

Ha! Run along love. You have no idea of what happened. Like you clearly have no idea about anything! Bye!

pam290358 · 17/06/2021 22:09

FGS it’s not rocket science, just get the jab. Stop listening to other peoples horrror stories and take responsibility for your own actions. My partner and I had Covid in February and it was the most ill I have ever felt. I had a few symptoms - flu like mainly - after getting both parts of the AZ jab, but absolutely nothing like I felt with Covid. You are working in a high risk sector. Step up and protect yourself, your family and the people you are caring for. Have the jab or get out of the care sector.

Nor do you by the sounds of things Grin

Cantbebothered2 · 17/06/2021 22:14

@baldafrique 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it was a private hospital with one to one care so yes you have no idea what you are on about!! Now run along!

THEDEACON · 17/06/2021 22:16

Firstly stop listening to anti Vax propaganda 2nd Educate yourself on why the vaccine is important If you still don't want the vaccine start looking for another job you probably weren't cut out to be a carer anyway

baldafrique · 17/06/2021 22:17

One staff member the whole time in a private hospital. No other contact with anyone at all during the stay. Not a soul. My God this gets better!

ZednotZee · 17/06/2021 22:18

@Cantbebothered2

I suggest you go to the press. The case of a vulnerable individual catching covid from a dedicated individual carer, within a private hospital who refused the vaccine is quite literally beyond belief!

baldafrique · 17/06/2021 22:18

That one (!) staff member who should have had their magically 100% effective vaccine but chose not to. Damn their soul!

I work very close to patients, and am against vaccines. I have two medical degrees.

I have no words Shock

Its OK, the 'medical degrees' are in Shiatsu and Aromatherapy.

I work in care and refused to take it. Bodily integrity, religious reasons plus I’m not taking part in an experiment.

What religious reasons? Will your God protect you if you get coronavirus?
It isn't an experiment.

Which religion's that??

Any possibility this unique demographic may correlate with elevated Covid fatalities and indeed seeding, incubating, super mutating super spreading by any chance?
pam290358 · 17/06/2021 22:35

@Mymapuddlington. Paracetamol is not a ‘terrible drug’. The reason it’s sold in small blister packs and restricted is that if you overdose on it, there is no treatment. And you win the thread for the most moronic missing of the point ever.

pam290358 · 17/06/2021 22:38

@Haffiana. so if you’re against vaccines in general presumably you;re not just up for putting others at risk of Covid, you’ll also be risking your children’s health by missing things like the MMR vaccine ? You must be so proud.

AnnieSnap · 17/06/2021 22:39

As for the argument that being told to choose between a carer’s job and not having the vaccine. What about the human rights of the vulnerable people being cared for? They have the right to be cared for safely and not to be put at risk by those choosing not to have the vaccine. No one is forcing anyone to have the vaccine, simply saying that certain jobs require the vaccine. There are plenty of jobs that don’t and won’t. You have a choice. A vulnerable person needing care has no choice about that.

Roonerspismed · 17/06/2021 22:39

Regarding the earlier nano chat - again, the blind faith placed in “scientists” astounds me

Lots remain unknown about the pharmokinetics of nanoparticles.
Interesting article in this year’s International Journal of Molecular Medicine summarising where we are. I’m amazed at the experimental use of it in billions of people.

It makes me very uncomfortable should there later be longer term neurological issues.

I profoundly hope I’m wrong, I spend far more time worrying about this than I ever did covid

pam290358 · 17/06/2021 22:39

Sorry Haffiana that last post was actually aimed at Rampantivy. My apologies.

orphananniesmum · 17/06/2021 22:41

@IndiaMay

No my love. Many people cannot have the vaccine for genuine medical reasons and it's those people who are at risk and don't want to be cared for but somebody who is also at risk of spreading it on

I'm not anti vaccines at all @pam290358.

I think you have confused me with someone else. I am fully vaccinated against coronavirus, and my daughter has has had all of her vaccines. She is studying biomedical sciences and is very pro vaccine, and is waiting for a call up to be vaccinated against coronavirus.

ResIpsaLoquiturInterAlia · 17/06/2021 22:53

aborted baby dna in the arm....

Now that is a new one on the microchips! Being double vaccinated has anyone yet been plugged and remote controlled by Microsoft yet? Just wondering if I can get a personal system upgrade!? May cyborg is the way forward to invincibility?
