Havn't had it in years and dd wants it for a big group of mates on her birthday. Looked at the menu and they are up to £20 each!! Is it worth it?

If you get the app, it's really easy to choose your deals. Then at the end they offer you further stuff at a reduced price.

I think it's the best pizza ever, it's puffy and doughy which I love but not everyone likes that type of pizza.

It's great fun checking the app to see what stage your order's at.

Funny thing is I was reading an article on dominoes, did you know Australia and America ect their dominoes pizzas are cheap, it was in the paper, yet ours are like the cost of a small mortgage, makes you wonder where they get off charging us what they do, the last dominoes pizza I got was soggy, undercooked and dripping in the tomato base sauce it was vile.. Just got pizza hut instead now, deals are cheap online

sociallydistained · 15/06/2021 09:11

Often 30-50% off a £50 spend and lots of other deals on top you can throw in for sides. On a large order you’ll make a lot of saving but it is still expensive.

When I order dominoes I find getting the best deal a bit like a game 🙈 theres so many options lol

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 15/06/2021 09:13

We love them and there are always deals. Since covid they've stopped doing half and half though which is annoying

Jahebejrjr · 15/06/2021 09:23

Are we the only people who always feel ill after eating Dominos? I can’t tolerate the salt and sugar they put in them. DP once ate one and it was like his internal thermostat malfunctioned.

inmyslippers · 15/06/2021 09:24

I really enjoy dominos/Pizza Hut but just can't bring myself to pay those prices. Even with discounts they're still massively expensive

Pinkylemons · 15/06/2021 09:27

If we get dominos we get 50% off if you spend £30 or something like that. Look in the special offers.

Jahebejrjr · 15/06/2021 09:27

One of their pizzas contains 16g of salt which is equivalent to three teaspoons of salt and 3 x the recommended daily intake. You would have to eat 7 Big Macs for the same amount of salt.

theyoungishman · 15/06/2021 09:28

Bloody hell that's expensive!! I'm in Australia and we buy large dominos pizzas for $5.95, which is about £3. £20 is crazy!

AmIPeriOrAreYouJustAnnoying · 15/06/2021 09:29

I would rather a shop bought pizza than dominos.

beela · 15/06/2021 09:29

Domino's is expensive so that they can put on lots of offers to make them the 'real' price. Loads of places do this: Gap, boden, dfs, etc. Nobody pays full price.

LittleBlackCat22 · 15/06/2021 09:31

I love dominos but we don’t order it as it sends my diabetic fiancé into a complete coma. Papa John’s he’s ok with but I think they’re crap.

Floralnomad · 15/06/2021 09:33

Dominos has to be bought using a deal and is very very greasy , Pizza Hut and Papa johns are both better takeaway pizza options .

TheLovelinessOfDemons · 15/06/2021 09:33

They're much more loaded than supermarket ones. The kids and I would be happy with 7" one each.

PrimulaPrimrose · 15/06/2021 09:34

My kids are old enough to admit that Aldi pizza is better.
And yes I feel ill after eating eating Domino's.

80sMum · 15/06/2021 09:36

Am I the only person who has never felt even the slightest inclination to try a Domino's pizza? Think of how much money I've saved! Grin

Popcornbetty · 15/06/2021 09:38

They are a rip off even with deals imo, hardly any toppings and just not what they used to be. Morrisons over the counter ones are the best supermarket ones. Best cheap takeout is Costco if you have one near you. I also prefer independent take out pizzas from unknowns where they make their own bases and sauce and they can be cheaper too.

Ozanj · 15/06/2021 09:41

They are 100% UK made with UK ingrediants and handmade / formed on site. The quality of ingrediants in ‘fast food’ options such as Dominoes pizza and McDonalds burgers are on a par with Michelin Starred restaurants.

Ozanj · 15/06/2021 09:42

Lol you’re not supposed to eat more than 2-3 slices so a single large pizza should be able to feed the whole family.

PrimulaPrimrose · 15/06/2021 09:45

I love Costco pizza! Probably because I ate it in-store with a cup of tea and felt it was a tremendous bargain!

HairyFeline · 15/06/2021 09:45

I’ve discovered Goodfellas Takeaway pizza. It is just as good as dominos! Delicious. That’s tea sorted tonight now….😄

Aldi's Ham and Mushroom in the "posh" fresh range is probably the best pizza on earth.
MildredPuppy · 15/06/2021 09:45

I quite like them. We can have take out for around £25 for the whole family using deals. By comparison the last fish n chips we took out was £37 and the last curry was £50.

They arent part of pur everyday diet butva bit of fun once in a while.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 15/06/2021 09:45

Maybe in Lilliput.
Jahebejrjr · 15/06/2021 09:46

I’m sure the salt and sugar they use is exactly the same as Michelin star restaurants. For me, that’s where an honest comparison would end.
