To buy a second pair of my 'happy shoes'

I bought a pair of shoes a few weeks ago and I just love them. WIBU to buy a second pair so that when these inevitably break I have a backup? They weren't expensive so that isn't an issue

I think I've bought 15-20 pairs of the same shoe over the past six years. Cheap and cheerful ones from New Look, but I adore them and they always come in a variety of colours for me to match with my outfits.

I have looked in my wardrobe

3 pairs of the same Clark's brogues in different colours (black, silver, navy)
3 pairs of a different style of Clark's brogues in the same colour unused, a bit used and pretty much worn out (black)
2 pairs of the same suede wedges, purple and navy

I have size 9 feet and shoes that fit, are comfortable and are not hideous are a rarity.

2 identical pairs of Nomad's trousers
5 pairs of the sae Boden trousers in different colours
I did have 3 merino jumpers the same but different colours, but they got moth-ed.
I often buy duplicates of T shirts or work shirts if they accommodate both my height and my boobs.

Me too @FreezerBird - I've kept my old beautiful shoes (and they were beautiful) and sometimes just spend some time staring at them longingly ...
