I think that we all try to be reasonable and non judgemental. However, I do think we can be labelling and bias at times. I was just discussing in private, with dh , my own pet peeve. He was quite taken aback .. he never judges , is mostly fair . Its made me wonder if many of us have quiet little unreasonable ( and are aware of ) thoughts and judgements .. ?! Meant to be light hearted.😂

Teachers who believe they are the only overworked profession out there.

Generally they are utter heroes and I know how hard they work (I am related to many) and in particular how difficult the pandemic has been for them. I am not trying to detract from that. But I feel there is a genuine belief by some teachers that they are the only professionals out there who are working long hours and who are under pressure and it’s simply not true.

Example - my cousin posted a thing on Instagram the other day about how teaching is the only profession where you have to work outside of working hours. Um, no...

Considering that most English speakers (UK ones, anyway) make plenty of mistakes themselves and actually know very little about grammar, it's remarkable how judgmental many of them are about other people's grammar and spelling mistakes. Not to mention how they seem to see their own mistakes as forgivable slips, but other people's mistakes as a sign of being stupid, lazy or ignorant.

People who breed and buy pugs.

Wicked I agree and my family are teachers so am naturally sympathetic. I was brought up in the belief that teaching is the hardest job in the world bar none etc and yes it’s tough but my parents never had to pull regular all-nighters or do very difficult stuff fast for demanding horrible clients like I did in corporate law. Friends that moved from US law firms to be teachers found it a piece of piss in comparison and loved the holidays.

Misread this as pigs at first and thought that was quite a niche thing to do judgemental over.

I also misread it as pigs and presumed @SpilltheTea was a vegetarian with a particular dislike of pig farming. Until you quoted it I didn't realise it wasn't pigs!
