Ok, so I am an expert re politics but I don't know why everyone is hating Boris. No one has had to deal with the issues he has re Brexit / Global pandemic and he has pretty much pulled both out of the bag. Look at us compared to Europe. How many lives have been lost due to their childish sniping. He has also had Covid. i am just baffled why everyone is hating on him, please explain???? So am I being unreasonable liking boris as an actual human being that makes mistakes but get shit done?

To be honest it doesn’t matter what the vocal minority here or anywhere else thinks, he is likes by many, otherwise he wouldn’t be having this level of electoral success.

Op, give me your take on the following:

-lock down late, according to.sage.

  • Lack of PPE.
-letting people back to care homes without testing, leading to a decimation of people in care homes. -not enough PPE for hospital workers
  • Having fast track procurement policy for friends and colleagues
-No public (or private) scrutiny of those contract s -the money spent and wasted on a non operative track and trace -said contract being given to someone who has failed in jobs she's done, but was a friend of his.

And that list, not definitive or complete is , only those things I know from his handling of the pandemic

He seems to have a charismatic effect on a lot of people. I can’t stick him. He’s morally repugnant, incompetent and corrupt. Brexit was his own doing, built on his own lies, and is likely to do a lot of damage to industries like fishing. Plus we had one of the highest COVID death rates going. Yes, he did ONE competent thing with the vaccine roll out, and now it’s hail Boris. I don’t get it! I actually feel like this country is going down the toilet!Sad

Boris is one man, he may steer the ship, but it's the various groups, organisations ect that also drive policy ect, Boris can say he wants to do x but then if the political will is not there, ?

I blame his ineptitude for causing my aunt to die of covid, my husband to get long covid. My sister's business to fail and for almost the highest death rate on the world.

I'd guess but I could be wrong, but i d guess the current situation with Brexit was partly down to the people who voted for it, it was up to the people to fully research the issues in depth and also to decipher any misinformation from either side.

There could be some truth in those comments, however people can have different perspectives or agendas , one person the person was ok, another the person was disappointing, and yet the person could also have been the same personality, therefore I prefer my intelligence, when possible first hand, or at least with proven intelligence gathered so that the intelligence is raw and then analysis can be concluded based on the raw intelligence.
