Got a refund for a cancelled holiday and spent a little bit of it on a perfume I’ve been eyeing up as a “sorry you aren’t going to Amsterdam” present to myself. It is Lancôme La VIe est Belle Soleil Cristal and it is Devine! My new favourite. What is your favourite perfume?

Coco Chanel, I’ve worn it since it was first released and recently managed to get hold of a bottle of the original formula. Whenever I wear it men comment on how nice I smell. The new formula is good but no where near the original😉
I have recently been trying out a sample of Coromandel by Chanel, I wasn’t sure at first but DH loves it, so I will be treating myself to a large bottle when I can get to Selfridges.

Tom Ford - Noir de Noir

Penhaligon's Juniper Sling. But the scent disappears within about ten minutes so isn't really usable

If anyone knows a similar one with better longevity, I'd love to know.

Insolence by Guerlain. It's quite an old-fashioned, floral scent but I love it and always get compliments when I wear it. It is expensive, so I rely on birthday money to keep me sticked up. When I win the lottery I am going to buy a personalised bottle. here

This is my second favourite, with Givenchy’s Organza as third.

Both quite old fashioned now, but I love them.
