Got a refund for a cancelled holiday and spent a little bit of it on a perfume I’ve been eyeing up as a “sorry you aren’t going to Amsterdam” present to myself. It is Lancôme La VIe est Belle Soleil Cristal and it is Devine! My new favourite. What is your favourite perfume?

ALL perfume within about 10 mins of wearing it smells rank on me.

I got a sample of Chanel bois des iles a couple of years ago. Its just lovely. But I can't justify the eye watering expense of it.

I have really missed trying perfume testers during the pandemic.

Insolence by Guerlain. It's quite an old-fashioned, floral scent but I love it and always get compliments when I wear it. It is expensive, so I rely on birthday money to keep me sticked up. When I win the lottery I am going to buy a personalised bottle. here

I have 200 (but I never buy shoes ) but if I had to choose one, it would be Chanel 19.

I love original La Vie Est Belle. Also O de Lancome and Ghost.

Thierry Mugler Angel, been wearing it on and off since it was released. Also love Cerutti 1881 for everyday wear.

My all time favourite is Marche aux Fleurs, from Fragonard. I have to order it from them in Grasse, because nowhere in the UK stocks it, but it is worth it.

For every day, I like Clarins Eau Ressourcante.

Quite a few favourites for me and always Eau de Parfum not Eau de Toilette - seems to last longer as a bit more oil is used (i think). Interesting seeing what everyone else likes.

Gucci Rush - have liked this for a loooong time and introduced others to it
Chanel Allure - try finding the purse spray can’t justify the price
Armani Si - love this so much and miraculously get a bottle every year for one of the important days
Sarah Jessica Parker - Lovely - instantly liked this when it came out (don’t like celeb ones normally) and quite vintagey to me
Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique - sucker for a nice bottle and love the scent too
Viktor and Rolf - Flowerbomb - impulse buy on holiday and another that others have bought too
