Got a refund for a cancelled holiday and spent a little bit of it on a perfume I’ve been eyeing up as a “sorry you aren’t going to Amsterdam” present to myself. It is Lancôme La VIe est Belle Soleil Cristal and it is Devine! My new favourite. What is your favourite perfume?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mugler Alien & Jimmy Choo Eau De! both of the fragrances make heads turn

My favourite is Pure Poison by Dior

My absolute favourite is Jo Malone amber and lavender. It was supposed to be a mans fragrance but I adore it and it doesn't smell too manly on me.

For anyone on FB, if you follow all of the big perfume brands (or beauty, designers, skincare brands etc), manage follow settings to allow offers, every so often they offer free samples of their new perfumes. I've had about 20 in the last 3-4 months. No postage or anything to pay. I've bought a couple off the back of receiving the samples too.
Today for example I received a mini bottle of Fenty Beauty (by Rhianna) foundation, a sample of YSL libre and a sample of Lady Million

Balenciaga Florabotanica, J'adore Dior and Dolce & Gabanna Intense are my favs.

I ve recently bought Liz Earle no 15 and I love it! I’d run out of all perfume.

I also love the MN favourite Eau D’Iris, although I didn’t know it was MN favourite when I got it!

And agree Jo Malone is fab. I like Cucumber and Earl Grey.

I do like Chanel No 5 but a close friend always wears it so I would feel I couldn’t if she was there - which is often!

Ever since it was released in the early 90s, my mother has been wearing Amarige by Givenchy. I would wait for her to come home from work at dusk, lurking in the porch, peeking out every so often. I could smell her several minutes before she popped round the corner, and it was pure joy for me anticipating her arrival once I could smell her approach. It is a strong scent, but eternally comforting.

Myself, I went for light, sweet, and simple with Nina Ricci's Luna edt. I will wear it as long as it is produced, and the scent does not change. It lingers for a long time and stains the skin with its scent really well for an edt.

Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin is my favourite.

But I also love Ghost Sweetheart.
