Can be lighthearted or heavy.

Mine is doing the packed lunches. Fucking hate it, especially those stupid Sistema lunchboxes with the compartments that nothing fits in Grin not my best ever purchase

You?

@Arrowheart

The school run. I fucking hate it. I actually can't stand most of the people I see on it. They all just get on my every last nerve.
I think this is the only one I don’t 100% empathise with.

I get the school run traffic but why other parents? Are you not not all in it together? I loved chatting other mums even if outside of school their values, morals and lifestyles were nothing like mine.

MrsJBaptiste · 29/04/2021 20:16

FOOD.

Planning the week's meals, food shopping, cooking, clearing away. And repeat.

I'd live off cereal and the odd bagel if I lived on my own!

anon666 · 29/04/2021 20:16

Washing out bottles and tins for recycling. Particularly sticky or oily stuff.

lightningpeach · 29/04/2021 20:31

The school run

StillRailing · 29/04/2021 20:34

And I sometimes ponder where my "recycling" will end up. Irritating.

lightningpeach · 29/04/2021 20:34

@lightningpeach

The school run
I should add, its the lack of parking, the terrible driving in small roads, the buggy in and out of the car, the fact it rains wherever possible at 8:45 and 3pm and the amount of times Ive forgotten my mask and had to go back (that ones totally my fault!)

I soooo identify with this.

I’d live off bread and cheese, alternating with toast and peanut butter.

elgreco · 29/04/2021 23:15

Putting the laundry away.
Deciding on meals.
Car not starting first or second time every fucking morning.

Frenchdoors1 · 30/04/2021 22:49

@AintPageantMaterial

Flossing and using interdental brushes. Hygienist says I must. It’s added 8 minutes to my bedtime routine! I hope I get better at it.
Yep, same here, it just becomes second nature after a while.
Thewiseoneincognito · 30/04/2021 22:57

Unloading an underwear and sock wash. I fucking despise it.

Changing bedding. Again I ducking despise it. The dust it kicks up makes me see red.

DP who loads the dishwasher as though he’s never seen it before and has no concept of order.

eatsleepread · 01/05/2021 09:00

This was my pure hatred for 10 years. I whooped with joy when DS (11 year 6) was able to walk to school independently. My teeth itch when I'm in that playground with people I have nothing in common with and no desire to speak to.

Did you ever consider that the problem may not lie with them ...

Putting a duvet cover on

SmallPrawnEnergy · 01/05/2021 14:47

Cleaning the bathroom. I never understand how to clean it properly. It's always dusty and when I use a cloth it clogs the sink with all the dust and hair. I don't like using disposable wipes. I don't know if I'm supposed to use a separate bucket of water and tip it down the loo instead maybe? I hate cleaning the floor it's always THICK of hair and dust no matter how often I do it, and it's tiny so I don't haul the bucket and mop up I just use a cloth but that contributes to the minging sink... I usually just let it proper disgusting before I do it because I hate it so much!

JustJustWhy · 07/05/2021 06:12

Shell Energy.

GillBiggeloesHair · 07/05/2021 06:31

Can I have three? Dust, limescale and cat hair.

JustJoinedRightNow · 07/05/2021 06:34

Adult acne!!

Onlinedilema · 07/05/2021 06:37

Technology that does not work.
Idiots who do not understand a basic message. Ie do not ring this number for advice on x matter, you must contact X. I don’t care if you want to speak to me , I am too busy with my actual work. You must ring X not me.

Bumblebee1980a · 07/05/2021 06:59

@Aprilshowersandhail

The lady who stops and chats(with another woman) for 45 mins on the path outside my house every Saturday and Sunday. Her white fucking yappy ddog never shuts up the entire time. Not sure how anyone can chat with that din.

I have shouted for it to shut up more than once.

Invest in a garden sprinkler 😂
cookiecreampie · 07/05/2021 07:30

School run, especially when it's raining and my kids are being uncompliant.

schoolsearchings · 07/05/2021 08:13

I'm sure this has been said but sorting the FECKING washing from the tumble drier. UGH... there are never ever, EVER matching socks, despite me making sure I religiously put matching socks in the washing machine. Also emptying the wet clothes from the machine and hanging up the ones that need air drying or tumble drying. If I could afford a full time housekeeper that would be the dream!

Being unwell with IBD.

nopuppiesallowed · 07/05/2021 09:00

Being unwell with IBD.
If it's IBS, ask your dietician to put you on the FODMAP diet. It's had amazing results for me.

Cooking

CatsnCoffee · 11/05/2021 22:23

@JustJoinedRightNow

I suffered with that and took antibiotics for several years. 3 years ago I became vegan (for other reasons) and my acne went away!
Occasionally I might get a spot, but it doesn’t linger.
