Can be lighthearted or heavy.

Mine is doing the packed lunches. Fucking hate it, especially those stupid Sistema lunchboxes with the compartments that nothing fits in Grin not my best ever purchase

Grin Same. As soon as I win the lottery I'm giving up work Wink

purplevamp · 27/04/2021 13:18

Sorry, I meant to put WORK in that reply!

the80sweregreat · 27/04/2021 14:05

Good point about ' new and improved'
Just spin.
Plus I can't have any powder or fabric conditioner that is too smelly or perfumed as it brings me up in hives, so it's normal non smelly stuff for me anyway. They never ' improve ' that!

PuntasticUsername · 27/04/2021 14:22

YES. So many things in the world that could seriously do with being improved (poverty and hunger. Vaccine access. Cadburys chocolate since Kraft ruined it) and instead they focus all their attention on detergents that will always, always be basically identical to one another anyway. It's very wrong Angry

mill3003 · 27/04/2021 14:37

Are you my twin??

RealisticSketch · 27/04/2021 14:47

To ask the people who hate putting new duvet cover on, so you wrestle each corner into position or turn it inside out, grasp the corners and invert? Cos I did the former until someone showed me the latter and now it's a doddle.

ClawedButler · 27/04/2021 14:58

My own stupid brain.

My life is fine, but my idiot brain keeps barging in saying, "Oh, have you remembered all the Wrong Things" or "Don't forget, you're shit" or "OMG you incompetent fool, you've screwed up so badly this time it will probably mean the POLICE and PRISON and you'll get shivved and DIE" or "Self care? Selfish prick more like. Do something useful for once"

memberofthewedding · 27/04/2021 15:12

Bloody bins! A squalid job - putting them out and bringing them back in. They are big, clumsy and far too heavy for an old person. I try to get my nephew to put them out but the bloody things still have to be dragged back in on bin day.

NDNs. I hate the creatures. I wish I could put my NDN in the bin and see them tipped into the back of the bin waggon and roll away forever. I would not report them missing.

Mamette · 27/04/2021 15:35

hygge twats 😂

😂 Can I add a few neighbours too? A neighbour bin.

Parking twats aka entitled selfish bastards who just park in your parking spot despite there being a private parking sign!

Can you tell I’m annoyed, this could be a whole thread on its own 🤣

As soon as it starts just tell it to shut up and keep telling it until it gets the message.
SecretWitch · 27/04/2021 16:25

My fucking right ear. I’ve got my third ear infection since the beginning of the year. It’s always the same ear. I’d like to Van Goh it.

the80sweregreat · 27/04/2021 16:59

Lately my left knee! Swollen, might be arthritis or something and a pain to walk on.
Getting old isn't any fun.

DoItAfraid · 27/04/2021 19:54

@thatsgotit

Meal planning and shopping. Changing the bed linen. Noisy, annoying adverts. My anxiety and depression. When people spell it BBQ. (Ditto 'donuts'.) Captchas that force me to waste valuable time giving myself a migraine spotting out-of-focus traffic lights just to prove I'm human. Fake, fair-weather so-called friends who decide to show their true colours just when I most need their support. 'Mrs Brown's Boys'. Chat windows springing up the minute I load a web page, before I've even had a chance to look at it... ditto webpages that beg for feedback 'before I go' when the homepage hasn't even finished loading yet. Ditto the constant badgering for feedback after every online transaction. Early morning showers. Spammers that think I'll buy from them just because they've put my name in the subject header. My sleep disorder which means that my body clock basically hates me and won't let me sleep until the early hours most nights, regardless how early I get up in the morning. And on a related note: Being a chronic fatigue or possibly fibromyalgia sufferer. Cellophane. Being constantly asked to take a 'quick look' at someone's essay/thesis/novel just because I'm a freelance editor, seemingly under the impression it will take me but the blink of an eye to carry out these tasks 'because I'm a professional'. Spiders. Keeping on top of the laundry. The thought of mortality. Mine and that of those I'm close to. Emptying the dishwasher.
I have found my spirit animal.
the80sweregreat · 27/04/2021 20:06

Some cracking lists here!
I hate the cellophane on the tea bag box. I physically attack it with scissors because I hate it so much.

HarriR · 27/04/2021 20:07

Ironing
Cleaning small bathroom tiles
Cleaning class shower doors.

CatsnCoffee · 27/04/2021 20:35

@HarriR I used to iron. Stopped ironing. Never looked back.

the80sweregreat · 27/04/2021 20:45

I've got a top I need to iron but it keeps being put back in the wardrobe unironed and then not being worn. It's an ironing stand off.

Onlygirlinmyhouse1 · 27/04/2021 21:00

Pairing socks, especially when they all look the same

mummysherlock · 27/04/2021 21:18

Food shopping
Ironing
Laundry
Cleaning the bastard bathroom
Doing the pissing school run
Preparing meals whilst taking into account 3 other people’s likes and dislikes.

BitterestPill · 27/04/2021 21:44

I love ironing...I set my alarm to get up at stupid o'clock to do it...I put on a film or programme that I can watch in peace and quiet....ive discovered that the iron and ironing board are treated like covid in my house so when I'm using them no fucker comes near me....so I often treat myself and iron 4 lots of bedding at 4 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon! Peace and quiet for hours, especially if I have to sit and drink a cup of tea between each item Grin
