Tens of thousands of people protested in London yesterday, why isn’t it in the news?

What is going on with the news these days? Whether or not you agree with anti restriction protests, surely the public have a right to be informed about a protest that large? I’m feeling increasingly uncomfortable with the censorship. Anyone else?

Kevinthegoatand Droppedtuning I am not Jewish, but I was appalled at people likening the current situation to the Holocaust. It is offensive.

It was a very big protest, almost impossible to find on the BBC website.

Constantly repeating something doesn't make it.

It was neither. 10,000 isn't "very big" and it absolutely WAS easy to find on the BBC website. in fact there were several different pages about it.

I had no interest in the march, so didn't go looking for it. But it came up on each of the news sites that I use, fairly high on their home pages.

I agree with every word KevinTheGoat and Dropdtuning.

The undercurrent of survival of the fittest behind all this protest is really disturbing. I know a couple of the protesters in real life. They are still calling for everyone to reject masks and vaccination, and get back to normal whilst "protecting the vulnerable". They don't seem to have given any thought to what they are asking of the vulnerable in order to grant them the freedoms they crave. I don't think they particularly care, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

So well said @KevinTheGoat and @DropDTuning. Your posts should be repeated whenever anyone tries to minimise what these people did and this whole narrative. Flowers

In my experience, there is a monumental overlap between 'Anti-lockdown protestor' and 'attention seeking twat'.
