Penis-haver

AIBU to start referring to all men as penis-hackers (inspired by the absurd NHS policy re people who menstruate thread)?
Hi, here’s my penis-haver X who I’m married to, my penis-haver friend Y and I was assaulted by a penis-haver paediatrician?

As far as I can see, a lot of non-binary people are doing nothing more than adopting some kind of unisex name eg Alex, and then dressing like someone from the 80s.
😂

@MMAMPWGHAP

Surely wankers covers it nicely
You beat me to it.

@AgathaAllAlong

Can someone link to where this has changed? On the cervical cancer link I too only see "All women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 should be invited by letter." which seems fine to me.
In Ireland they had removed the words woman and women completely until people kicked up a fuss about it, then they added women/woman back in along with people with a cervix meanwhile the prostate cancer section remains in edited, only men get prostate cancer still

Tampax got in on the act with “people that bleed”, as referenced in this piece by Deborah Ross, which I quite enjoyed reading:

In that spirit, how about people that spaff?

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 15/04/2021 22:52

Nad Sack Nebulizers. Just in case spaffers might be too triggering.

Scrotum tote 'ems, though, is nothing short of a work of genius!

Inneedoflifeadvice · 15/04/2021 22:53

The equivalent of the hateful term 'menstruator' would surely be something like 'ejaculator' though?

All people bleed. Most child-bearing age women (i.e. biologically female people) have periods- silly tampax!
Congressdingo · 15/04/2021 23:00

That's a chicken
Did you just assume its gender? Tsk tsk. It identifies as a cock OK.

TalkingtoLangClegintheDark · 15/04/2021 23:00

Good point, Inneedof. People that spaff do indeed bleed as well, although not usually through their genitalia from the womb they haven’t actually got.

Sloppy, Tampax. Sloppy.

Not a mention of penis havers, ejaculators, or protsate owners in sight:

prostatecanceruk.org/about-us/ad-men-we-are-with-you

I wonder why?

WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo · 15/04/2021 23:06

Ball sack owners.

Women are fanny flap havers.

SageHoney · 15/04/2021 23:13

A lot of these sound like '80s/'90s indy band names: The Inseminators. The Penis People.

I prefer Penis Operators. I saw someone arguing that "owners" was inappropriate and too capitalist, and suggesting "holders" instead, along the lines of "passport holders" or "season ticket holders". But penis holders/vagina holders could be ... Blush

I agree that if we're going to use organs instead of the more traditional language, it should be done across the board - why would the logic be any different for traditionally male body parts than for traditionally female ones?

If anyone here reddits, this sub offers a lot of real-life documented examples internationally.

PyongyangKipperbang · 15/04/2021 23:21

I THINK I JUST WON ONE!!!

DS, 15, has been on a crusade to prove me wrong about my views on Gender etc. He started again about me objecting to "cis" and said "So AFAB is ok then?" (assigined female at birth) and I said no because "I do not self identify as female" he said "but you keep saying you are a woman" to which I agreed, I self identify as a woman and not female and his own beliefs should surely mean that he respects that.

He stropped off without another word, presumably to get another argument to throw at me :o

I haven't seen any transphobia on here, but admittedly have skimmed the thread. Could you point it out?

What on earth are you talking about? We need a new word for people who produce sperm because men doesn’t work any more, as trans men are men. I’d say that’s the opposite of transphobic, it’s kind and inclusive.
