the child is blindfolded - when the blindfold is taken off, a dogs rear end is put in place of the chocolate fruit - so the kid thinks she's put her finger in the dogs bum.

AIBU and a bit of a Karen (as Ive been called on Tik Tok!) to think this absolutely atrocious behaviour as a parent and the little girl, who was clearly distressed, will have some trust issues now because of this?!

Teenagers to each other - funny.
Trusted adult to a child - cruel.

I saw this and hated it, the girl was so little and very distressed.

I beg to differ. Regardless of whether its in the privacy of your own home or in front of the whole solar system. Effectively making a child put her finger in a dogs bottom is sickening. Infact no ill tell it exactly what it is. Its abuse to both the child and the dog not to mention unhygenic.

No, the covered an orange in chocolate spread, blindfolded her and put her finger in the orange. They put the dog in front of her and removed the blindfold so she thought she’d put her finger in the dogs arse and her finger was covered in shit while she got really upset and was laughed at because she didn’t know it was chocolate spread.

Totally vile. It's essentially tricking the child into thinking she's been victim to some kind of weird physical/sexual assault. Doesn't matter if that hasn't actually happened - if she thinks for a second that is has she's going to be as traumatised as if it had happened, and rightly so.

And I also think the nutella/toilet paper prank is disgusting - and anyone who does it to their kids and laughs is totally grim. Surely it would have the potential to totally mess up some very important development milestones around personal boundaries and toileting.

My BIL put it in a family WhatsApp. I didn’t find it funny. The wee girl was genuinely upset, I don’t find that amusing at all and definitely not something to post all over the internet.

Goodness me, that is so gross! Horrible for the little girl.
