the child is blindfolded - when the blindfold is taken off, a dogs rear end is put in place of the chocolate fruit - so the kid thinks she's put her finger in the dogs bum.

AIBU and a bit of a Karen (as Ive been called on Tik Tok!) to think this absolutely atrocious behaviour as a parent and the little girl, who was clearly distressed, will have some trust issues now because of this?!

Also in an age where cyber bullying is a very real and dangerous problem, why on earth would any parent paint a massive target on their own child's back like that??

I don’t really like pranks anyway, it’s having a laugh at someone else’s expense. I really hate when people think it’s funny to pull a prank on their child that causes real upset to that child.

I saw one where a mum pretended to get poo on her child, it was chocolate spread but the child didn’t know that. The kid was so upset they were sick and although having to clean it up serves the mum right I felt awful for the poor child. I can’t believe anyone would not only do that to their child but then think it was hilarious and post it online.

If a young lad had done this to a girl and then posted it on social media to humiliate her, would people laugh at it?
@Fembot123 tricking a dc into thinking they’ve committed sodomy (which I’d presume they won’t know but it is illegal because it’s very wrong) isn’t funny. It’s also not normal to laugh at humiliating a dc. The two combined... yep, something wrong with people laughing at that
Wow 😳 😂 If a child that young even knew what sodomy meant I’d be shocked.

@greyscully

I got that, still unacceptable to my eyes

But you found the video acceptable enough to laugh? Hmm

I was talking to the OP hence quoting her 😚

People who do that to children shouldn't be around children.

It’s not remotely funny the child is clearly very upset and distressed. Can’t fathom how anyone can upload a video of a distressed child for shits and giggles.

So having a laugh by distressing a child? In what universe is that ok?

I think you have a misguided sense of unacceptable.

I laughed once out of surprise then forgot about it until this thread, I didn’t share it nor have I ever pranked anyone let alone a child or shared any humiliating videos of my child but now I am ‘Of low intelligence, rough, a bully and pro sodomy’

I think you need to get a grip, it was a jokey response to a sarcastic and jokey comment.

Oh it’s shit, and it’s the type of humour people who think they’re so wacky just love to pretend to find funny.

There’s another horrible one of people pranking their kids by waking them up wearing a horrible mask or putting hot sauce in a straw before giving them it in a milkshake. Using your kids like that is just grim. And abusive.

There's a lot of videos around of people upsetting heir children to get a funny video for the Internet and it's absolutely disgusting behaviour.

It takes a low certain level of intelligence to find that sort of "prank" amusing.

It's like this horrible woman who upset her son like this.

Really nasty, cruel trick - bad enough to play it on an adult - vile on a young child.

There's quite a lot of nasty stuff like this on TikTok. I've reported loads for child abuse but always get 'this video didn't go against our community guidelines' type message back.

Tbh there's a lot of this about in the world in general. What about that Jimmy Kimmel thing where parents are meant to tell their kids they've eaten all their hallowe'en candy and then post the video of their upset kids in? Just sick.

The parents sound utter oiks to be honest.
Who’d do that?

I’m not sure if it was TikTok but there was a trend of parents videoing themselves slapping a cheese slice into their babies faces.

I just googled and saw the video. Not pleasant, the little girl was very upset and it was even worse that people were laughing when she was visibly crying.

I once went to a party where I was sat down and blindfolded. Someone sat next to me and said Lord Nelson was sat with us. They said this is his arm (person with arm behind their back), this is his hair - touch hair - this is his shoulder - touch shoulder - this is his eye - puts my finger in a squelchy cut orange. Cue screaming from me.
Lots of laughter. No one offended.
I think the dog bum prank is too much and horrible

I can’t believe anyone would not only do that to their child but then think it was hilarious and post it online.

I saw one of those and there were a couple of things that occurred to me:
The first one being at the age of the child, mine would have just gone "oh, I've got poo on my hands, I'll go and wash them". Their child was hysterical.
So it was obviously done on a child who they knew was likely to get upset. So probably a child who already struggled with the thought, which is only likely to make them more upset if they do get poo on them.

The other was how mean to put it online when your child is that upset. They didn't even show the child calming down after being told, which might have slightly reduced the nastiness to me.

I've also recently seen a number of people singing happy birthday then pushing (presumably) the birthday person's face into the cake. I have not seen any where the birthday person is laughing too. It really does look nasty.

I saw a similar one where the mum asked for toilet paper and smeared chocolate spread on their child’s hand as they took it and then laughed as their child was sick on the bathroom floor. It was awful but I seemed to be the only one who thought that.
