What horror house. Like if built by a Cyberman. Cold, soulless, trying hard to be modern and minimalist but failing miserably.

I'm sure it will suit someone, but I'd sooner buy the Murder House from American Horror Story before even considering the one in the op....

What's with the room with the odd steps and windows? It has the feel of a room built with a very specific purpose in mind but I can't work out what. And what with the morgue kitchen, crematorium living room, easily hoseable everything and prison toilets, I really want to know.

I don't like it at ALL!

Wonder who owns it. Know any up and coming singers/bands from Gateshead? You’d need to be a pretty serious player to have that many guitars.

I live about 2 minutes from this house and I can honestly say I have no inkling of who might live here! I do know of a couple of relatively successful musicians in the area, but they’re classical and jazz/funk. A couple of retired 60s musicians too. I don’t know of any guitarists who seem like this would be their sort of thing.

I’m howling that this is on here, though. I spotted the listing yesterday and can’t believe how hideous it is. And eye-wateringly overpriced. It’s in a odd location (just a stone’s throw from a load of beautiful Victorian/Edwardian terraces full of character that have a private park that always makes me think if the park in the ‘Notting Hill’ film. And unless it’s some sort of tardis, from outside it looks pretty small.

I’ve often thought it looked weird when I’ve passed it (it has the look of a commercial unit that’s been converted to accommodation). It’s proper made my day that it’s made on to MN though!

Liked the quirky doors and windows but white everywhere is far too stark (imagining it painted in rainbow colours 🤣). Add in a mortuary for a kitchen and prison toilets and I don’t think I’ll put in an offer.
But I loved the music. Anyone know what it is?

Die to the lack of furniture and looking unlived in!

The outside is kinda cool but I feel claustrophobic looking at the interior. Looks like a weird submarine or spaceship and why are the ceilings so low?

The toilets just remind me of disgusting public toilets, the type you pray you never need to use. Then there is the weird boat/submarine theme, the white, the metal stairs remind me of....I’m not sure, I keep thinking if stairs like that outside the market in the town I grew up in. Possibly prison stairs to go with the prison themed toilets others have mentioned 🤷🏼‍♀️

All in all a bloody awful house, it’s not even consistent all the way through, it’s like Dr Jeckle has decorated half of it and Mr Hyde the other half.

I feel stressed just looking at the photos! What a bizarre house. And yes, as others have said the kitchen is a cross between a morgue and that scene from Jurassic park!

Yes! The ones you think, if you go inside, you won't be able to get out again. However they are like a Tardis, bigger than you think.

I would never sleep in a house like that. Each to their own though.
