It looks like it is unoccupied (as too stark and depressing!) apart from a single bloke staying there to keep an eye on the place in return for very reduced rent.

What a joyless existence

I totally could not imagine living in it, it really is the stuff of nightmares and the toilet/shower situation are so many levels of wrong!

I'm assuming it was either designed for a submariner, or to look like a submarine - neither create the relaxing home environment I dream of.

It looks like a prison and there is no natural light anywhere!! Horrible!

This is the second RM listing I've seen with those metal toilets and basins - gives me is 1980's British Rail train toilet vibes. All that's missing is the tracing paper toilet roll......

@TestingTestingWonTooFree the stairs to nowhere seem to take you to a couple of sleeping pods, but I might be wrong.

Also, for clarification I quite like the building itself, and there seem to be some interesting original features, like the cast iron columns, but no way on this earth would I think that the interior design is to my taste!

It's very 'submarine', and whilst I like the quirky windows/doors etc, not sure about the clinical look throughout. Rather too hard and stark looking for my liking, unless of course it has a lovely big garden, in which case I'll forgive pretty much anything if it's affordable.

It just looks so airless, I imagine it smells of camphor.

It's like a horror film in an asylum. The toilets! The bedrooms/padded cells with mirrors for the staff to check on you. The white everywhere.

Loved the music video though.

Wow, there's literally nothing I like about that house. The kitchen, the toilet, the vinyl, the spiral stairs, the stupidly shaped doors. It looks like it would a death trap as soon as you've had a drink or if you want to go between rooms when you're half asleep - or potentially just if you meet the owner. I suppose at least bloodstains would show up on the white so that gives some level of reassurance but with all the stainless steel who knows. I cannot comprehend how anyone could ever have actually sat down and thought 'gosh don't you just love a public toilet stainless steel bowl with no seat - Wouldnt you just love to use one every single day'
