I don't like the decor, but the building itself is really quirky!

Also, the video tour is quite something and should definitely be viewed with sound on.

Why is it so expensive?

BlowDryRat · 06/04/2021 19:10

I feel like people are dismembered in the kitchen before the remains are cremated in the living room.

irregularegular · 06/04/2021 19:12

I like the outside. The interior is completely unliveable! Such a shame.

Lorw · 06/04/2021 19:14

Wow. Stainless steel everywhere, my idea of a nightmare can you imagine children with their little fingers- would be constantly cleaning Confused

Why is it also so expensive?

Lockdowntherabbithole · 06/04/2021 19:16

Definitely a serial killer’s house. You’d need to be an expert at cleaning up finger prints living with that kitchen.

DrSbaitso · 06/04/2021 19:19

@yikesanotherbooboo

Why is it so expensive?
Because it's operated by HAL 9000.
LadyMonicaBaddingham · 06/04/2021 19:19

Star Trek fans, I'm guessing...😂

Mamette · 06/04/2021 19:21

It’s horrible. So oppressive with no natural light. And the toilets Sad

DramaAlpaca · 06/04/2021 19:22

It's horrible, industrial but not in a cool way, and it looks as if it would be really cold inside.

Eddielzzard · 06/04/2021 19:26

The DALEK!!! Does it come with the house? The Dalek explains all really

Eddielzzard · 06/04/2021 19:27

Also ironic that the owner is obviously a guitarist, but the choice of music is orchestral

Redjumper1 · 06/04/2021 19:28

Looks like somewhere a serial killer would live.

LuaDipa · 06/04/2021 19:30

No.

Tal45 · 06/04/2021 19:31

It's like living in a bunker - where are the windows?? The kitchen looks like it's designed for autopsies and the toilet's straight out a prison. The patched up road in front isn't a great look either, it's all very bizarre and doesn't seem to fit in with the surroundings at all. I hate it!

PolarnOPirate · 06/04/2021 19:33

It looks like how I would imagine it would be to live inside a ball bearing.

swones · 06/04/2021 19:33

It's as if someone has had a really weird dream after a night on the cheese and thought 'I have to build that house!'. I can't decide whether it's supoosed to be a nightclub, a catering kitchen, a submarine or a spaceship.

MiddlesexGirl · 06/04/2021 19:33

Grim.

toocold54 · 06/04/2021 19:35

It reminds me of a spaceship. It’s not my cup of tea even though I do love silver and white there’s just a bit too much of it.

sotiredofthislonelylife · 06/04/2021 19:35

Did I see carpet in a bathroom 😳😳😳

PinkiOcelot · 06/04/2021 19:37

It looks cold and totally uninviting.
Way over priced for where it is.

Gingernaut · 06/04/2021 19:39

I usually love 'quirK', where someone has taken an old building and worked with the original features.

This? No.

The world's wankiest busker lives there - seriously, a walk in wardrobe, with a tree full of baseball caps and a selection of guitars, to accessorise with whatever ensemble the man of the house will be wearing as he serenades the passersby with 'Whipping Piccadilly'.

Purplecatshopaholic · 06/04/2021 19:40

Defo a Marmite House! Someone will love it.

ComDummings · 06/04/2021 19:41

It’s like a dental surgery. Only worse.

Lindy2 · 06/04/2021 19:42

Where would you put any actual stuff - general things like any of your belongings?

Also, is that 2 toilets in that bathroom separated by a sink? 1 public toilet seems bad enough but 2 next to each other seems so much worse.

margotleadbeter · 06/04/2021 19:43

'Heart of Low Fell' is stretching it a bit. It's the bottom end as you leave Gateshead before The Angel and the A1 and as PP has said it's not on the 'right' side of Durham road as it's behind commercial premises. I was born on Kells Lane near by further enough up the big hill to be classed as the 'heart of Low Fell'. And the decor is grim. The prison toilets hold zero charm. I live no where near now but drive down Durham Road home from work most days. I may swing by tomorrow just to see what the craic is
