I don't like the decor, but the building itself is really quirky!

Also, the video tour is quite something and should definitely be viewed with sound on.

It's like a white prison. For someone who wants to clean all day.

SymphonyofShadows · 06/04/2021 20:08

I love the Pistillino lights and the Telecaster. When I saw the guitars I thought musician at first, but there’s not enough of the other stuff they’d have. They like spending money on the toys.

12BottlesOfVintageChampagne · 06/04/2021 20:09

Abattoir

MadeleineMaxwell · 06/04/2021 20:10

1960s sci-fi prison. You would not be overly surprised to see Dr Frank N. Furter wibbling about in one of those shiny, shiny rooms.

Lindy2 · 06/04/2021 20:11

What's with the room with the odd steps and windows? It has the feel of a room built with a very specific purpose in mind but I can't work out what

I've no idea but it would be absolutely guaranteed that my kids would spend hours and hours climbing the stairs to nowhere and leaping off the top. 😂

Another reason why I wouldn't buy it - incase living in a prison/science lab wasn't enough to not be tempted.

AdaFuckingShelby · 06/04/2021 20:15

I felt my soul being sucked out of me the more I looked. Awful.

CounsellorTroi · 06/04/2021 20:16

Much too clinical and cold for me. Kitchen looks like an operating theatre and bedrooms look like futuristic hospital rooms.

LimpLettice · 06/04/2021 20:17

It looks freezing. Like you'd spend all your life with every rad pumping out heat, wear huge jumpers and slippers, and still have frozen bones. In august. The kitchen looks like a morgue, and why oh why is the hob sticking out like that?!

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 06/04/2021 20:18

@PolarnOPirate

It looks like how I would imagine it would be to live inside a ball bearing.
GrinGrinGrin never even vaguely crossed my mind to imagine such a thing but it's beautifully funny that you have!
Toddlerteaplease · 06/04/2021 20:19

Needs more colour.

Wacamole · 06/04/2021 20:19

The accompanying soundtrack from 'The Omen', says it all really.

CloudFormations · 06/04/2021 20:20

It gives me anxiety

yomellamoHelly · 06/04/2021 20:21

Where are all the windows? It would be like living underground

ittakes2 · 06/04/2021 20:23

WTF!

FightingTheFoo · 06/04/2021 20:23

@MarieIVanArkleStinks

I normally like a bit of eccentricity. But this is more like Belmarsh (steel lavs) meets Star Trek!

Not for me.

This was exactly what I thought - a prison from Star Trek
1frenchfoodie · 06/04/2021 20:24

Never thought I’d be so grateful to see some decking - after 40 or so 1960s sci prison pics (spot on @MadeleineMaxwell ) the bog stardard roof terrace was soo restful for my eyes.

RaspberryCoulis · 06/04/2021 20:24

I think the photographer had switched on the black and white setting on his camera.

If it's supposed to look like that..... just hideous. No personality. It'd be like living in an operating theatre.

hotclothbuns · 06/04/2021 20:24

Nightmarish

icdtap · 06/04/2021 20:27

500K to live in that hideous house in that location. No thanks.
Low Fell has gone upmarket in recent years but it's still a bit of a dump!

ameliajanes · 06/04/2021 20:27

It's like an upmarket solitary confinement cell. The lack of windows would send me crazy within days.

FastFood · 06/04/2021 20:28

More shades of grey than windows.

picklemewalnuts · 06/04/2021 20:29

No outdoor light, and all that chrome would give me a headache I reckon!

RaspberryCoulis · 06/04/2021 20:29

Horrendous. Like living in an operating theatre.

MintyMabel · 06/04/2021 20:30

All that stainless steel and chrome would be a nightmare to keep clean.

TheRedNote · 06/04/2021 20:31

Is this the Geordie shore house?!
