I have five children, all by the same father, all in wedlock. And no, we are not on benefits, not even tax rebates.

Why do so many mumsnetter thinks this is totally uncool, and then whinge about their broken relationships?

I think the OP is my FIL.
When Dh and I got married, he said something on the lines of "well at least the next child will be born in wedlock" - DH has a ds by an ex-gf.
Ignorant old git. His parents refused to acknowledge dss until he was nearly a year old because it was such a disgrace he was illegitimate. So you can see where FIL gets it from...
