To think oral sex is unpleasant?

I should specify - I mean receiving oral sex, not giving it. Giving it I don't mind either way, but receiving really gives me the ick for some reason (even hypothetically from someone I'm otherwise attracted to).

Am I alone in this?

I don't like my dh doing it. He's not good at it. Two previous partners were mind blowing. Like pretty much all sex- it's skill. So I don't like it now, and am very very happy, and very satisfied (thankfully dh has a specific set of skills, highly honed and dangerous in that area- just not oral) each time their own, right?

I love it, and am body confident (but fat - not generic magazine 'hot').

Depends on who is doing it. Nothing to do with body confidence - done badly it is like being slavered over by a dog.

Definitely find it gross. Wouldn’t matter if they were expert or not. Don’t want tongue or saliva near there. I won’t share cutlery or food or toothbrushes for the same reason. Yuck. Luckily only a few men have really wanted to do it. Most are happy not to!

I love giving & receiving. I wouldn't say I'm body confident but my husband obviously loves doing it & its such a good feeling for me.

For me it's not about body confidence or who is doing it, I just don't like it. I don't like anal either, or being on top. I also don't like carrots. Personal preference isn't it.

Always hated it, life long aversion. Until this partner that is. I decided to try it because I knew he loved giving, turns out I love it with him - couple of key points though, one "technique" I despise, he tried I said absolutely not, he never tried again. Also he never liked receiving but decided to try and also loved it. Like many things sexual it isn't just a matter of what it's also who, how, when, where etc.

Like some people have said dont mind giving it as long as the guy is clean snd showered etc. But recieving it nope nope nope. It feels strange af.

It is the only thing I miss about being married.

I did have a unicorn boyfriend- one who didn’t like BJs. He was very clear about it early on. Also asked me to please not see it as a challenge, or go on about it! Obviously previous partners had tried to analyse why, or convince him of the merits. It was a bit strange to have to remove that skill set from my repertoire. It really did make me want to do it more!

For me, oral is the bit I look forward to most- and the biggest disappointment if the giver turns out to be untalented or perfunctory.

See I hate this, it just reinforces to men that they should get it but women shouldn’t receive it because it’s “yucky and dirty” i wonder how many men don’t want a bJ because it gives them the “ick” bet none 😂

It's such an intimate thing that if you don't feel comfortable in your skin or with your partner then I can imagine it's not enjoyable.

not this with me AT ALL. I love my body and adore my partner. I just don't like the sensation and it lacks intimacy for me.

If it’s done right I prefer it to actual sex.
