How's your hair looking?

If I don't laugh at myself I'll probably cry.

I had my hair done in October 2019 with the idea of getting it done again in early spring 2020 ready for the summer, well that didn't plan out obviously and now another 12 months have passed and I look like Brian May.
Anti-frizz serum is useless at this point.

Tell me I'm not the only person who looks ridiculous.

Awful. I'm genuinely considering the MN haircut and a box dye it is so bad!

Last done Jan 2020. I've at least 6 inches of roots and the lengths are like rats tails.

At this moment I resemble cousin IT from the Addams family!!!!, just with more grey hair!!! 😂🤣

My hair is bleached blonde usually and I last got it done in August. My natural colour is dark brown so I now have dark roots down to my ears where my hair turns bright blonde. It looks completely ridiculous.

The only saving grace is that it’s in excellent condition and now very thick through months of Olaplex, Biotin, very minimal heat and no colouring.

I’m booked in for 8.30am the first day they reopen and cannot wait

My hair is absolutely shocking.
I'm so annoyed that i missed out on having it done at the end of November but it didn't seem do bad then.
Now my eyebrows -god god- what a mess. I'm not great at doing them so leave it yo the professionals every 3 weeks. Its my biggest and probably only indulgence. They've not been done since November. Zoom meetings are a nightmare. I have managed to find the optimum point of camera furthest away and can still use the microphone

It’s baaaad!. I have a bleached pixie crop - usually!, I now have a mullet with terrible roots 😢. It does make me feel like crap tbh. I can’t even get in the week they reopen as they are fully booked so I have to wait till 17th April. I do agree, the safety measures were all in place, my hairdresser had spent money on disposable gowns, towels, auto hand sanitisers etc and had to close again anyway.

Straggly and fairly mullet/like. Thankfully it's now long enough to tie up. I can't wait to get it sorted!

I look like Cousin It on a bad hair day. But with more grey.

Everyone else's posts have definitely made me feel a bit better about mine, I picked up a deep conditioner mask and some supposedly fancy serum whilst shopping earlier, the packaging has many big words and ingredients so I'm hoping at least one of them stops the frizz.

I have considered asking my partner to trim it, my hair is so long and thick plus I'm currently pregnant so I'm pretty sure it's thicker than usual at the moment due to that, it's just so poofy and looks like one of those troll dolls that were popular years ago.

Mine’s awful. I have really curly hair which requires careful cutting or I look like patty and Selma from the Simpson’s. It’s basically a vast triangular wedge, and I have horrific black roots and blonde ends 😫

My hair looks like Hermione Granger's in her early Hogwart years. Except I am 50 and have a lot a little grey.

Not been dyed for a year, not been washed for 2 weeks, not been brushed for a week.

Extremely dry because I've been bleaching it and dyeing it purple since October. I'm actually going to go back to black this week, not because I'm sick of the the colour, not even because I'm done with the faff but because the condition is terrible.

My younger son looks like a bear. Unfortunately my older son took the clippers with him when he went back to his place after Christmas.

Mine's at the annoyingly long stage now (right down my back, roughly hip level) but that's my own fault for not getting it done since November 2019 Angry To be fair though, when my work reopened in July last year we only got weekly rotas about 2 days in advance so it was hard to plan anything. I'm booked in for a haircut on April 9th (in Scotland) and want to get around 6 inches off but I'm desperate to see my wax lady, my legs look like they belong to a man 😭😭😭

Mine hair is fine but is the kind of hair that always look ok - long, straight and shiny - but as it’s shape starts to disappear, it is just a bit boring and drab, which is kind of how I feel generally about hair, appearance and life in general at the moment.

So shit. It’s way too long. I’ve got a dodgy growing out fringe (cut it myself a few times but sick of my own crap haircuts. Dry and dull from too many box colours which still don’t cover the rapidly expanding grey.

I look like Morticia’s fat cockney cousin.

Using lockdown to have long hair again and loving it.

Mine is so long and I had my last cut and colour before Christmas so not nearly as long as some on here. The roots are grey, at least 2 - 3 inches deep. I have to say my hairdresser does a good cut because although it’s losing shape I can still make it look good from the front. The back oh dear, not so good 🙈

Had my hair cut in January 2020. It's thin at the best of times. It's now far too long and straggly. Dh says I look like a penguin with the way it lays now. I said "cheers for that!" He said "but that's sweet!". Yeah, as a 53 year old woman, sweet is definitely what I'm going for. Hmm

In good condition but shapeless and in need of colouring. I've already made an appointment I'm so desperate. On the plus side, some of the hair descriptions in this thread have really tickled me.

I cut my own this morning using a technique I found online called unicorn cut. It worked!!! looks so much better, but it may be that I am so used to seeing no one that my perspective has changed :)
