Live online workout, walk out with DS, the highlight of the week home shopping delivery, maybe make a cake if I can be bothered, tidy, sit and watch Netflix or listen to DS talk relentlessly about Forza or Minecraft. On repeat for pretty much the last year........

Christmasfairy2020 · 13/03/2021 19:40

Accepted new dryer delivery. Tidied and went to aldi. Put aldi away kids dinner and then I thought sod it and visited my mum

DartmoorWilderness · 13/03/2021 19:41

Saturday: 3 ish hour hike, housework, food shop, some DIY or gardening, play with kids, takeaway

Sunday: shorter hike, Sunday lunch, lots of reading, some online courses and trying to learn Arabic, play some board games, early night with DH Wink

Missing seeing family and not being able to drive for a walk or to visit the beach, but hopefully soon. Other than that the having lots more time for hobbies which is great!

Missing seeing family

Whenthesunshines · 13/03/2021 19:43

Today I have washed clothes, put clothes away, done food shopping, cooked for the week, put cooked food in fridge/freezer, napped, posted on MN, ordered pizza, watched a film. Tomorrow I will laze around and do my planning for my week at work.
My life is boring as hell but not that dissimilar to how it is during term time normally.

GloriaSilver · 13/03/2021 19:43

5 K jog, food shop, cleaning, tidying, cooking 7 million meals, Netflix, bed.

pandarific · 13/03/2021 19:43

Get up with toddler/have lie in depending on if it’s my turn or not (we take it in turns).

Make pancakes with toddler if I’m up, if not stay in bed reading/doing some writing until 9.

Go to park with toddler while husband does some diy (trying to finish house before second baby born).

Back for lunch - usually followed when toddler not lookinb by Treat Food (biscuits, chocolate, notably today was profiteroles which was nice).

Watch land before time (toddler very into dinosaurs), then aid with nee naw taking people who have had a bump to the hospital where the doctors kiss it better/put on a plaster.

Play cars. Then nap while DH takes over. Dinner at some point. Bath or shower toddler, teeth, book, bed for him. Dinner for DH and me - episode of GBB.

Go into office to write dirty fanfic about sexy actors until get tired and go to bed.

I can highly recommend the writing/reading - I think a hobby that gets you out of your own head is invaluable at this sort of time!

DrunkenKoala · 13/03/2021 19:44

Shower, sort laundry, and then baked a cake this morning. Was going to go for a walk this afternoon but it rained and hailed so stayed in and watched that.
Got food delivery coming in the morning, will finish order off tonight. Weather looks better tomorrow so hopefully get out for a walk.

Toiletrollbuyer · 13/03/2021 19:46

Finished painting my daughters bedroom. Walk the dog, eat food and drink gin 🤷‍♀️

Chickychickydodah · 13/03/2021 19:47

Face time mil . Eat McDonald’s breakfast . Walk or play board games. Chinese and netflix

Lastbonestanding · 13/03/2021 19:47

Walk, clean house, get a take away, wine, film, bed.
Every single Saturday and every single Sunday. Take aways only on Saturdays.

MrsJBaptiste · 13/03/2021 19:50

Lazy mornings
A walk (for a change!)
Yet another trip to the supermarket
Kitchen drinks
Takeaway

And repeat for the past however many weekends...

Roll on the gyms, shops, cafes, pubs opening!

Chewbecca · 13/03/2021 19:51

I’ve taken to staying in bed until about 1pm. Drinking tea, surfing, watching cooking shows..

Food shop.

Book or jigsaw or more telly.

Cook something half decent.

Wine.

Telly.

Bored but cannot bring myself to do anything else.

ludothedog · 13/03/2021 19:54

I'm not bored. My work week is busy and so I'm quite happy for a quiet weekend. Leisurely sat morning, housework, grocery shopping. Sunday morning walk with friend or family then bath and I do the ironing in front of the tv. Weekend is over before you know it.

Only difference with pre lockdown life is coffee, lunch or drinks with friends. Seeing most of them anyway for a walk. I probably would also be more of a taxi driver for DD. Not looking forward to that starting again.

MrsBerthaRochester · 13/03/2021 19:57

Watching movies, reading and drinking far too much booze.

PandemicPalava · 13/03/2021 19:58

Dd had zoom classes this morning, dh walked dog, dd met friend at the park and I met friend and had a sit in the park.

Dentistlakes · 13/03/2021 19:58

Run, breakfast, housework, take the children for a walk, make lunch, try to get the kids to read/do homework. Sunday is relatively the same, although I usually do food shop as well.

This Sunday I’ll be getting uniform etc ready as they are back in school!

FlatToppedTree · 13/03/2021 20:01

Product development and photography on Saturdays, slob on Sundays Grin

warmandtoasty2day · 13/03/2021 20:03

currently writing a book, paid for hobby work and making a fair bit of dosh from selling on ebay,
life is pretty busy.

bumblingbovine49 · 13/03/2021 20:03

Well tody lay in bed doom scrolling for ages. Got up and lay on sofa in dressing gown watched about 6-7 episodes of Chicago med ( absolute shite). in-between naps and constant eating. Got up to eat a small amount of dinner cooked by DH. Now on sofa again and about to go to bed again.

Not all weekend days are like this but enough of them recently are to start to be tipping me over into serious depression

DH had been in another room gaming and reading all day. Again very unlike him, he is usually able to keep busy and dioes housework and stuff generally

DS (15) no different than every single day for over a year. Moving from PS4 to bedroom and laptop or phone and back, interspersed with the occasional bounce on the trampoline. Weekdays involve more laptop for DS in weekdays as he is attending lessons sometimes .

None of us has spoken to each other bar DH and I to get irritated with each other this morning

BetaSasquatch · 13/03/2021 20:03

Like others - the same ever week:

Sat: get up, walk the dog, have a coffee, read the news, do some housework, have lunch, walk the dog (again), prep dinner, watch tv, have tea, have a shower, watch tv, go to bed

Sun: the same again, but with a roast dinner and a bath instead of a shower

Over and over and over and over....

garlictwist · 13/03/2021 20:07

I'm alone as usual -

I've been for a run and a bike ride, read most of a novel, had a nap, had a take away pizza and cleaned the bathroom.

Regretting the nap now as I have too much energy and still so much day left...

EveningOverRooftops · 13/03/2021 20:08

Flip between despair that DC won’t engage with therapy/constantly avoids anything challenging and this will be my life forever so why bother

And

Oh hey, this has been my life for the last few years and now every fuckers moaning it’s bad but told me pre covid I was ‘lucky’ to have so much 1-2-1 time with DC.

It’s bad. I’ve had enough. I had enough way before covid. I’m just ‘happy’ when I explain my desperation, need for freedom everyone else will understand exactly how I feel.

Silkies · 13/03/2021 20:11

Up until recently was getting a house sale to go through so work on old property then went on market doing further things to improve following feedback, then sold and doing solicitors paperwork etc then completed and doing change of address, clearing stuff, tax returns etc. DH then got suspected cancer referral so was sorting out finances to make sure OK if serious including money from house sale. That's now all clear.

Both kids were back at school from Friday. Today was just clearing the chicken coop, trying to get DS to decide his GCSE options he is SN and no is his favourite word to the choices but have gone from stats - no - no - no to stats - computing - geography no. Dealing with DDs school issues. Click and collect tomorrow.

Will start sorting out here and finding projects here. It's boring but means things are getting done. There's a lot of watching programmes as well and thinking but not doing exercise.

missbridgerton · 13/03/2021 20:12

Work all week so weekends are housework, gardening, long dog walk, and usually having one of the grandkids for the weekend to give DD a break.

I also usually do my Dad's shopping, and do his housework on a sunday afternoon.

The only difference for us is that DH isn't out golfing all weekend, I'm getting antsy now for the clubs to re-open and give me a break Grin
