Yes the guy lost his mother in a tragic way at a young age. (So have many) Yes he was forced out into the public eye in the middle of grief (which was horrific at the time and worse on reflection) BUT he is now an adult man with a family and access to life of extreme privilege yet he cannot seem to realise that him publically complaining about his lot in life and telling the rest of us how to behave is distasteful. Also, the petulant way he seems to communicate with the media is just undelining his immaturity and lack of awareness. By which I mean, the potshots in statements and rapping with James Corden and his pathetic man of the people schtick. If you want to be Hazzer give up your title and STFU!

@Roussette I did say they were mild irritations and I would be irritated if my friends behaved in that way as well. It wasn't because she was Meghan that was irritated- it's just not my cup of tea. My sister in law behaved like she was the first person ever to have a child as well and it was annoying.

I find Clodagh from This Morning annoying. So I switch off the TV when she comes on. I don’t complain to Mumsnet.

Similarly, if you find Harry annoying, don’t watch him on TV and don’t read articles about him.

In sure they have but they make up for probably 0.001% of the comments on Meghan and there's certainly not been any racist comments on this thread.

I have no opinion on Meghan (other than she perhaps didn't realise or was told the immense pressure of Royal life) but I get why people find her irritating. That's not racist.

There are a hell of a lot of annoying people out there. Some celebs annoy me, the way they speak, the things they say, the soundbites... whatever.
I just turn off the telly, don't read about them and really really don't post about them on a forum! What's the point?

Many people simply don’t like that a non white person is in the royal family many threads have been pulled as this one probably will be too

Well I've never seen anyone criticise Archie's looks but I obviously wasn't on those threads

@Roussette the point is that when you are in the public eye - celebrity or royal and you do stuff that people find annoying , it will get commented on. Like Gordon Ramsey getting a verbal bashing for the way he behaves or Andy Murray when he was being grumpy and monosyllabic. I imagine part of the reason celebs put up with it is because their source of money essentially comes from the public being interested in them. If they want to be millionaires and in show biz then part of that is trying to increase their public profile - get their picture taken at the right event wi tv the right people etc. They can't then whinge about it when they do stuff that just makes them look a bit 🤔

YABU. They're all tone deaf and hypocritical. And completely superfluous to this country's requirements. I'll say one thing for Harry, least he's got off his backside and is earning his own living whether people approve of his methods or not. The others could do to take a leaf out of his book.

Yes. And as for when Meghan read her son a bedtime story for charity and shock horror he had a nappy on! The comments on her as a mother were absolutely disgusting. And on a forum for mothers. Same with her carrying Archie in a papoose. Ditto disgusting comments.
I really question what some people are on. To be so horrible to another person like this.
