Yes the guy lost his mother in a tragic way at a young age. (So have many) Yes he was forced out into the public eye in the middle of grief (which was horrific at the time and worse on reflection) BUT he is now an adult man with a family and access to life of extreme privilege yet he cannot seem to realise that him publically complaining about his lot in life and telling the rest of us how to behave is distasteful. Also, the petulant way he seems to communicate with the media is just undelining his immaturity and lack of awareness. By which I mean, the potshots in statements and rapping with James Corden and his pathetic man of the people schtick. If you want to be Hazzer give up your title and STFU!

Attack Meghan all you like, you're not going to convince me that Meghan committed some terrible crime by waiting a couple of days to do a post-birth photocall

Exactly.

Note they didn't froth so much when Archie was depicted as a monkey. The nature of UK racism is so sly. It's all 100 words why they don't like Meghan, anything but the real reasons.

MN has a reputation tho for women in a complete state about MM because they can't stand a woman of colour married into the royal family, and that she has a voice. Also that in the midst of it all she just got up and left, taking their Prince with her. Nice move. Shows what she thinks of their racist bullshit; it's not worth her time.

The gutter press are probably on the threads busting a gut along with them, whilst H&M are happy far away.

I wouldn't have known about the James Corden show if not for this thread. Enjoyed it. Harry looked happy and relaxed, and James Corden was funny🙂

Fontella · 27/02/2021 22:46

I can't believe there are grown up women on this thread who genuinely think that those of us who aren't keen on Meghan are racists who don't like the colour of her skin.

I could not give a shiny shit if she was sky blue pink with purple spots. She could be any nationality under the sun and it wouldn't make the blindest bit of difference to how I feel about her, and I'd bet my life savings on the fact that plenty of others feel as I do.

She was a young woman who met a prince, enjoyed the royal wedding and all that went with it. She knew what she was getting into, as both she and Harry told us.

Apparently not. She lasted less than two years, whisked her prince off to Lalaland and is now raking it in to the tune of tens of millions (income she could only have dreamed of prior to meeting/marrying him), living a life of rarified luxury, interracting with the LA 'elite' who again would not have given her the time of day, prior to meeting Harry, with an income beyond our comprehension.

And why? Because he's the son of a future king and she's a soap star. There is no other explanation why an average couple with minimal talent can command a Netflix contract worth 40 million.

Nether one of them have any great talents, or personalities or credibility individually. Despite rejecting their royal connections, they are contrarily milking those same royal connections for everything they're worth on the other side of the pond and it appears to be working.

Not only that, but they are reeling in plenty of hand wringers who apparently feel sympathetic towards them.

I suggest you direct your sympathies towards those who are experiencing real financial hardship, life limiting illness and so on. The people of Kenya whose lives are made a misery by the sandflies than have to be cut out of their feet. Those who live under severe political and economic oppression, and those who don't have enough food to sustain themselves.

Harry and Meghan's definition of a hard day is when the wicked old media don't write something sycophantic about them.

Changedname476 · 27/02/2021 22:46

Most of us aren't that worried about what Meghan or Harry do... feel very sad that they left England and didn't stay working Royals as it was refreshing until they went astray.

Don't want them to earn money off their royal status, they are either Royals- dedicated to U.K.- or they aren't. They deserves respect and support and most of us wanted to give them that ... except they read too much media ...

Not worried about what they do. Wish they'd stop griping.
Totally get they want to be private citizens and enjoy their children. We also wanted them to have a mix

They are so unlike Prince William and Kate with their 3 little ones, they've found a mix of privacy and duty.

So was William bullying Harry’s wife?

There's a video of Meghan and Harry walking into a official royal event, and William making eye contact with Harry and saying "Hello Harry" and walking away, blanking Meghan. In front of the world's cameras. You can see Harry get upset and keep repeating "he just said hello Harry" and Meghan has to calm him down. People may disagree on whether that's bullying but it's clearly rude and immature.

Or what about the time William decided to exploit Harry's bad press over using private jets to hurriedly organise a PR stunt, organising last minute seats on a budget airline for a trip already booked (no doubt originally booked using private jets or their own private helicopter), a stunt that involved two empty planes being flown the length of the country because the airline were told ahead of time that the press would be there and wanted to use a plane with their own logo on it. Just to make Harry look bad and score points from Harry's bad press. Hardly the actions of a supportive brother, especially when William uses private jets far more than Harry and lectures about climate change way more, yet doesn't get attacked for hypocrisy.

When the expose came out showing that the partner of the Cambridges' personal secretary had been selling info about Harry and Meghan to the tabloids, William and Kate did not fire him. Maybe they were involved in leaking negative stories and maybe they weren't, but it's impossible to believe they didn't know, and they chose to support the person proven to be leaking, not support Harry and Meghan who at the very least deserved to be able to trust their own family and not have private info sold to the press without consent.

Hell when Tatler ran that horrible article about Kate, and the Cambridges made a huge fuss and threatened legal action, the only part of the article William had them remove was a paragraph about him and Rose Hanbury, he didn't bother to get any of the nasty stuff about Kate or her mum removed. Hardly supportive and that's his own wife!

No one in the family ever defended Meghan when the press was being openly racist towards her, and printing lies, yet other royals do get defended. KP didn't bother denying the story about Meghan making Kate cry but they do deny every tiny story about Kate's hair, face, wardrobe. Again the double standard shows a lack of support.

The way William flew off the handle of the "rural rivals" article drew attention to an otherwise forgettable and non scandalous story and made the alleged affair the subject to worldwide attention. Again William put his own anger and arrogance over protecting his poor wife.

I don't care what Harry does because he's not a royal and he fucked off to America. I didn't watch the James Cordon show and don't intend to watch Oprah. William will be King of my country one day and he's utterly unfit to rule IMO.

I’m pretty certain people were aghast at Danny Baker. What he said was awful. He was sacked IIRC.

They’ll be back when the truth of William wnd Prince Andrew’s truth is allowed to be published. I imagine H&M are probably the least scandalous of all the royals.

What annoyed me was the 'you know us royals don't carry cash' joke .::: are you a royal? Ok but you don't want to be treated as such and want privacy ... oh but only if it's on your terms and you can earn cash the rest of it while you FaceTime 'Meg'. I think what's interesting is cordon is friends with both William and Harry and as 'fun' as I'm sure Harry is William is powerful and I think think cordon would piss him off so I'm guessing William knew of this ahead of tjmr.
LOL at somebody being annoyed by something as benign as that

I can't believe there are grown up women on this thread who genuinely think that those of us who aren't keen on Meghan are racists who don't like the colour of her skin.

I can't believe there are grown up women who genuinely think that a three-year long series of literally hundreds of hate threads that:

*Started practically the minute Meghan started dating Harry, before she'd even done anything
Have been full of overt and covert racist language from day one, everything from "uppity" to "not an English rose" to "ngger"

*Have been dominated by poster who already have reputations for being goady racists on threads about why golliwogs are innocent fun, it's fine for schools to ban black pupils from having afros, people who attended last summer's BLM protests are virtue signalling "thugs" spreading Covid, people who attended last summer's Neo Nazi protest are just exercising their right to free speech, it's hilarious when small children point at black people on the bus and ask why they're dirty or if they're made of chocolate, anti-racism is a load of wokester nonsense, anyone using BAME is a virtue signalling thug trampling on free speech, racism doesn't exist, and anti-white racism is the very scourge of the earth

*Dominated by posters who harassed and stalked a black poster for nothing more than lobbying for a Black MNers section to the point she had to go to the police

*Where Meghan defenders who come out as being BAME are attacked and harassed while white or presumed white Meghan defenders are treated far more respectfully

*Used to be dominated by posters who were so racist they were banned, and have since set up not one but two rival forums as places to spread Meghan hate, both of which make the Stormfront forum look like a knitting circle

*Full of posters who clearly have no problem with overt racism and/or deny that racism exists, then pat themselves on the back for not engaging in racism themselves

...and deny that racism plays even a tiny part.

I have zero interest in the royal family and find it super easy to avoid stuff on any of them.

Interested/bored by the misogyny of: "whisked her prince off to LaLaLand" as if he was not a grown man who's served in the army and can make his own decisions.

She's not British she's not white and she's an actress to boot. She must have had a cunning plan to kidnap our true blueblood boy.

Yawn.

justab0utsurviving · 28/02/2021 00:49

@PurpleCrocuses I was intrigued by some of your claims so took a look at the videos of the snub/ignoring of Meghan and it really is a stretch. He said hello and sat down. It was tbe last royal duty they did and maybe William was pissed off. It isn't a crime. But he didn't ignore anyone. And you can't tell what Harry says to Meghan - indeed tbey after immediately talking to the person sat next to them.

I don't know how you know all that other stuff about internal staff and leaks and he said/ she said but I also looked up the tatler article and actually they did have all the negative comments about Kate's family removed so you are talking rubbish on that one as well.

Zero interest in the Royal Family but posting on a thread about the future king's son?

Both interested and bored by the 'Misogyny' (strange choice of word there?) about an American born actress 'whisking' her British born and bred, lived all 35 years of his life husband off to 'lalaland'.

So Harry's fucked off stateside and it's really not a big deal. The reason for this apparently was the toxicity of the British press. And yet here they both are with stage managed media appearances, and regular announcements, pronouncements and making sure to keep themselves in the media they both so apparently despise.

These two self-obsessed, hugely privileged individuals are doing a great job of manipulating the gullible, and it seems that plenty on here are falling for it hook, line and sinker.

I thankfully am not one of them.

No I disagree because the Queen and William & Kate have decided for all their we dont interfere in politics policy, to wade into the vaccine debate. I've had my vaccine and do believe in it but it's not their.place. however according to.the MSM they are great for doing so. But when Harry gets involved in something hes wrong. Can you tell i never buy any papers any more? Grin

When the queen dies they should disband it IMO
