AIBU to think that worms are actually snakes?

YANBU - they are snakes

YABU - everyone knows they are part of the extended rodent family, otherwise how do you explain rat tails?

You are not a woman unless you wear a floral apron, American tan tights and detest sex

Only floosies wear American Tan... real women wear Honey tights during the day, and greet their husbands with their slippers and pipes in Barely Black!

YABVVVU OP, don't you know toilet brushes are rank? You need to change your bedding every day MINIMUM, and you need to always have Pom Bears in stock in case of an emergency 'entertaining the neighbours' situation arises! We also need a diagram!

Here, have my first ever Biscuit

Nursery has banned my baby- should I complain?
When I went to pick my baby up from his nursery this afternoon I was called into the manager’s office for a ‘chat.’ She closed the door and proceeded to tell me that my little boy couldn’t come for his session tomorrow, and that he wouldn’t be welcome again. She was also writing to every other nursery in our town to let them know not to even let us in the door. Apparently he wasn’t the sort of child they wanted, and his presence made the other children uncomfortable. Also they had a responsibility to other children and their parents to keep them safe. When I pointed out what a lovely time he’d had- he proudly showed me his drawings, and babbled happily about playing in the sand and building stuff from Duplo- I was told to leave immediately or the police would be called. No clear explanation for this has ever been given. I’m concerned that there is some form of discrimination or that we just ‘aren’t the sort we want...’ My son is heartbroken and can’t comprehend why he can’t be like the others. I’m really not sure who to complain to. I had to explain to him that even though he is a 48 year old gas fitter with several criminal convictions for robbery, he will always be my special little boy, and hope that one day he will understand.
Who is BU here?

They are.

If he identifies as a baby, then he's a baby and has every right to that nursery place! If others are excluded or uncomfortable as a result...then they're the ones with the problem and the phobia.

@Rupertbeartrousers I know. That’s what is worrying me. I think I’m just going to quietly tiptoe away and do a quick NC....

@00100001

OP: My 42yo son earns £150k + bonuses and has a free company Mercedes. he wear designer clothes, goes on holiday 3-4 times year, has expensive memberships to exclusive clubs. and often mentions how much money he has in his saving investment portfolio. I'm living off a meagre income, and have to eat beans on toast every day, and can only afford to put the heating on one day a year. I have sewed a duvet into an adult onesie to keep me warm.

AIBU to think he should be contributing some housekeeping money?

I have taken out a mortgage to go to centre parcs overnight but now I'm scared as I'm not into swinging (my thighs are too fat) and I don't like anal sex. Will I still be allowed in? Worried my children are going to miss out again

You're worried your kids are going to be missing out on swinging and bum sex?????? Shock
Emptybox · 25/02/2021 14:22

I think you’ve misread the message, @00100001.
She’s plainly talking about confidence on the kid’s play equipment. I fear she’s also been a victim of autocorrect when she was saying she didn’t like Alan’s former partner. WinkGrin

Just putting this out there for opinions

I work, my husband works, we were married before we had children. They go to a naice independent school, we don't live in a flat and we employ a nanny, helping the CNN local economy. I am not racist (my cleaner is one of them) and I am not transphobic (indeed I was a tomboy growing up).

My question is, bearing in mind I'm not on benefits or a SAHM, not a socialist nor do I recycle, is it unreasonable to visit my second home in a rural location with one small cottage hospital within 100 miles? I am 38 weeks pregnant and currently covid positive but I have paid most of my taxes so it's only what I'm due.

MuddleMoo · 25/02/2021 14:55

I'm trying to save a deposit for a 3 bed house in London. How many years of taking in ironing do you think it will need?
