Mr tumble drama

So old CBeebies presenter (Sarah-Jane if anyone remembers the olden days of CBeebies) is in the newspapers saying she was best friends with mr tumble but he completely ghosted her after cbeebies sacked her (without even letting her know) when she did an underwear photo for animal rights.
Now mr tumbles mum is in the papers saying its a load of rubbish.
I used to see a lot of CBeebies back then and realised I never noticed that Sarah-Jane disappeared or read about this at the time.
AIBU to think they were a bit harsh and that mr tumble shouldn’t have ignored her?

God help me, I actually googled this (blame Covid). Is it true she was fired over a topless photo shoot?

Ooh I've just had a thought - perhaps Sarah-Jane was the MNer's friend and that's the reason Sarah-Jane is annoyed he didn't return her calls. Grin

Interesting, I’ve heard the opposite about Mr Tumble. After filming finished he spent a lot of his own time meeting the kids in the school he was visiting. I haven’t met him but I love that he has helped to make Makaton more main stream.

Justin Fletcher is a god amongst men. I will hear no wrong spoken of him. He is the practically the only thing I miss about having teenagers who would never in a million years watch CBeebies.
That and bedtime at 7pm.

I know someone who teaches in a special school, and they said Justin Fletcher is a complete knob. Ignores all the children and is only nice when the cameras are on.

Marry - Mr Bloom (think of the home-grown veg)
Avoid - Mr Tumble (Even though as the lost pirate you could have 'pirate sex')

The high prince is not averse to a bit of scandal and intrigue himself. I well remember (going back a bit here) when he set the cat amongst the pigeons by mis-signing the sign for 'happy' and it came out as a regional variation for 'sex'.

In Scotland same sign used to mean 'to meet' but I rarely see it used anymore.

Can't stand Mr Tumble. I met him a few times in my old job and trust me, he's no way near as nice or as good with kids as he tries to makes out. I'll l never forget how nasty he was to a poor young boy with learning difficulties who only wanted to say hello.
Doesn't surprise me that he'd blank someone after they've "fallen from grace".

Do BBC have a clause that if you're sacked for gross misconduct then you cannot contact anyone else in the company?
A few companies I've worked in had that; if you're fired, you cannot enter any of their premises again and cannot contact anyone who works there.
Maybe she wasnt meant to contact anyone and Justin was advised to ignore her.
