Mr tumble drama

So old CBeebies presenter (Sarah-Jane if anyone remembers the olden days of CBeebies) is in the newspapers saying she was best friends with mr tumble but he completely ghosted her after cbeebies sacked her (without even letting her know) when she did an underwear photo for animal rights.
Now mr tumbles mum is in the papers saying its a load of rubbish.
I used to see a lot of CBeebies back then and realised I never noticed that Sarah-Jane disappeared or read about this at the time.
AIBU to think they were a bit harsh and that mr tumble shouldn’t have ignored her?

I nearly shagged Mr Tumble but it didn't count as he was only Justin.

I'll get my spotty bag....

PandemicAtTheDisco · 03/02/2021 19:37

I've heard he's an arrogant twat, very demanding and difficult to work with but I've also heard from someone else that he was rude to staff but really good with the children. There were also those who said he was really charming at the same event. He was reported to have been impatient after a technical problem delayed them on and off for several hours. And the food was cold.

Sidge · 03/02/2021 19:37

@ShirleyPhallus I saw a TV prog last week with Richard Bacon - he said he wasn’t sacked for taking coke, but for being late for work too many times.

Paused a beat then said “taking cocaine makes you really unpunctual” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sidge · 03/02/2021 19:39

@DearPrudence Sportacus! Now we’re talking. Have you seen the pics of Magnus Scheving in real life?! Total hottie.

majesticallyawkward · 03/02/2021 19:39

I've always had an immense dislike for Justin fletcher, at some point something horrific about him will surface I'm sure of it!

There was a time when my dd was obsessed with his shows and I don't know if it was sleep deprivation, lack of sex or what but for a while Robert the robot from Justin's house did it for me though.

OhWhyNot · 03/02/2021 19:39

I'm just glad Mr Tumble managed to keep his clothes on.Phew!

Grin

Mmm not surprised he is the type of man that gets his mother speaks on his behalf

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/02/2021 19:41

Another sleepless night for yours truly

Waspnest · 03/02/2021 19:41

Was that the programme with Stephanie in the pink wig?

Sorry, I mean was Sporticus the one with Stephanie in the pink wig?

x2boys · 03/02/2021 19:46

I remember the thread about Andy from Cbeebies ( is he still around ?) Looking just like Fatima Whitbread ,once you see it you can't unsee it😂

littlepinkwinky · 03/02/2021 19:47

@Mulletonyourhead

I just assumed Mr Tumble was gay 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm sure he is. But LORD Tumble is gorgeous, all man. The things I'd do to him.......
AdditionalCharacter · 03/02/2021 19:48

This thread Grin

I was scared to open it, thought it was going to be something awful. Glad it's not. Mr Tumble helped my DS learn makaton when he was non verbal.

Anyone remember the PC plum song? Years ago, some MNer said they sang it their head while watching Balamory "I'm PC Plum and I take it up the bum..." . That took up more space in my head than I care to own up to.

iklboo · 03/02/2021 19:49

@Waspnest - no, that was a different show, Lazy Town.

BeautifulStar · 03/02/2021 19:49

Wow, I forgot all about Sarah-Jayne - had to google her - I thought she was so wholesome!

I think Justin is similar to Cliff Richard, as in he’s totally asexual - he’ll have been horrified! It was a bit daft of her!

BeautifulStar · 03/02/2021 19:50

Ps. My hairdresser’s wife works with Justin and he is apparently a really lovely guy.

GloGirl · 03/02/2021 19:51

@SunbathingDragon

Seen Justin Fletcher at GOSH a few times and would have a very low opinion of him except for the fact he was very nice to the children he was paid to see (wouldn’t have anything to do with the others though).
What's this? He was paid to visit sick children in hospital? And he was dismissive of the other children in the ward who did not have cash? Shock

Ummm, Cliff isn’t asexual. He lives with his long term male partner.

@Ticklemynickel

I think Sarah-Jayne needs to move on. It was a decade ago.

I hope Mr Tumble's mum is Gale Force. She's my favourite.

I’m sure there was a mr maker mr tumble love triangle. Mr tumble aka Justin fancied someone but she went off with mr maker instead. I saw mr tumble live stage show and it was fabulous. And mr maker was there just in the audience-not in character!

LadyMayoGoodway · 03/02/2021 19:55

This thread’s cheered me up no end.

I didn’t know Tumble’s Mother had waded in - excellent 👌🏻😂

QueenArseClangers · 03/02/2021 19:56

I once made a right tit of myself talking to Mr Bloom.
He was filming at our school and walked past me as we were queuing up at the main entrance (couldn’t use normal classroom door due to filming.)
I was heavily pregnant, it was a hot early summer day and I was a bit light headed. Ended up doing a comedy curtsy to him and pretended to fan myself whilst shrieking ‘Oh Mr Bloom!’

Yes!! That rings a bell Grin

Thank goodness someone else remembers and it's not just me being demented. Someone also revealed that Mr Bloom was actually really posh and up himself and that his earthy Yorkshire ways were contrived - that upset me more so I remembered it better Grin[/quote]
I remember those threads... I think it was when everyone was comparing whether they fancied Sid or Andy

MrsJBaptiste · 03/02/2021 19:57

Magnus Schevingis indeed a looker 😊

However I always had a thing for Robbie Rotten (in Lazytown!) When i saw what he really looked like... 😍
