Mr tumble drama

So old CBeebies presenter (Sarah-Jane if anyone remembers the olden days of CBeebies) is in the newspapers saying she was best friends with mr tumble but he completely ghosted her after cbeebies sacked her (without even letting her know) when she did an underwear photo for animal rights.
Now mr tumbles mum is in the papers saying its a load of rubbish.
I used to see a lot of CBeebies back then and realised I never noticed that Sarah-Jane disappeared or read about this at the time.
AIBU to think they were a bit harsh and that mr tumble shouldn’t have ignored her?

Snog the Scottish woman with the pixie cut
Marry Ranger Hamza
AVOID Mr Maker

The theme song for Let's Go for a Walk is so cute, it makes me want to cry when I hear it!

OhMsBeliever · 08/02/2021 11:30

@BBOA

And if anyone is still on this thread and on the snog, marry avoid theme.....Deadly 60....who knew nature programmes could be so engaging!?!
I've met Steve Backshall. He's very lovely and just as good looking close up. Mmmm. (I was with my kids otherwise I'm sure he would have run off with meGrin)

Snog Nigel
Marry Molly and Mack’s Dad, James. Or, the lovely Nigel...
Avoid Mr Tumble - this thread doesn’t exactly paint him in a good light

LlamaPjama · 09/02/2021 19:46

@RickJames Justin Fletcher is my crush. I would have bet my house that he was gay! Boob guy?? Does that mean I have a chance? 🤤

VelveteenChair · 09/02/2021 20:49

Gutted as I was hoping for some inside gossip there.
@Hummdeedumm I've never met her but for some reason, I've always got a really bad vibe off Katy.
Katy lives near me, she is very normal and nice, no arrogance or bad vibes, kids attend local community school etc.

Mrsmummy90 · 09/02/2021 22:37

@Clairewitchproject that's fab then! I don't know why I've always felt it! She must remind me of someone I've not been fond of somewhere down the line lol

Going to put my two pennies in here... Justin is an extreme lovely guy.. He is very warm, genuine and in no way "up himself" he can come across as very abrupt but he doesn't mean to be, he has preformed shows when he himself has been extremely ill, because he didn't want to let families down. He is extremely passionate about his work. He keeps his personal life very private. By the way he is definitely not gay lol There are those the know him and those who "know" him.

trunumber · 28/02/2021 00:12

You know that post sounds like it was written by Justin, right?

bitheby · 28/02/2021 00:17

I was going to suggest Mr Tumble's mum until the last sentence or two. Someone who "knows" him eh? Was he gentle?

KindnessCrusader · 28/02/2021 00:24

Mr Tumble lives near me and I feel so sorry for him trying to make his way round Waitrose-imagine the responsibility of being Mr Tumble and all those little eyes on you. Not to mention the starstruck grandparents (Kind Dad, I'm talking about you!)

Yeh, this was definitely written by Justin!

Hi Justin! My kids are big fans 👋

singlemummanurse · 02/03/2021 03:20

I've taken my lo to the panto with him in for the last few years (except this year which was cancelled for obvious reasons, so sad) and he always seemed lovely, very funny and all the kids just awestruck, especially my little girl. I'm scared to read the other thread linked as I'm not sure I'll be able to look at him the same next panto from the snippet I read from the screenshot! 😳 Although I have to say Justin squirted all over me at the panto and got me all wet..... with a water gun 😁😂

Anxietyandwine · 24/09/2021 14:04

We met him at Butlins this year and both my 2yo and 10yo we’re totally amazed by him. We had a private meet and greet (free) right as he’d come off stage with his dancers and must’ve all been exhausted. He gave the kids loads of signed goodies and was so lovely, just like he is with the children on TV.

LadyOfLittleLeisure · 24/09/2021 15:20

'Mumble' like a portmanteau of 'Tumble' and 'mum'?
