Had never heard of the Wayfair one - hope it’s not true though
Considering the alleged "victims" of the wayfair conspiracy have been found alive, safe and at their family homes (one's even posted on social media) I'd say it's safe to say it's not true.
I think a lot of the conspiracies with government/secret service involvement (especially the US) probably have an element truth to them.
Some actual real life and confirmed government projects come straight from the realms of conspiracy theory.
MK Ultra - mind control experiments with the government testing mind bending drugs on unsuspecting soldiers/government workers without their consent.
MK Niaomi - biological warfare projects that looked into how to store materials that could either incapacitate or kill a test subject and to develop devices for the diffusion of such materials.
The syphilis experiments - deliberately infecting soldiers/prostitutes/civilians/people with mental health issues and prisoners with syphilis (and other stds) to study their effects without their consent. This was done twice (Tuskegee and Guatemala).
The various funding projects of rebel/insurgency groups around the world and the illegal sale of arms to support them. Nicaraguan, Afghanistan, Colombia, Kosovo, Tibet etc.
Operation paperclip - pardoning and secretly bringing in over 1000 nazi scientists , engineers and medical personnel to work in the government.
Project sunshine - secretly stealing bodies and tissue of the atomic bomb victims to study the effects of radiation.
And that's just a few.
