It would have been a lot cheaper to spend a few million feeling up people like Trump (so dim they'd never realise) than having to invest in the business of building bigger nukes.

With the added advantage that at some point, if you've done it right, it becomes more essential for the US to keep it a secret than the Kremlin. Imagine watching your enemies having to contort themselves silly to avoid letting the world know they'd been fooled.

For Robinson to sell people's investments without permission is a crime. No point making big announcement about monitoring and then doing naff all.

I still cannot believe that elements of the Elected Republican Officials continue to get away with spreading the right wing propaganda. It really saddens me that we live in such a selfish world. ( made more apparent with the vaccine fiasco of 'I am alright Jack' attitude here in the uk).

Right wing parties love to imply that socialism = Venezuela, but Trumpism has far more in common with the strategy of South American dictatorships (promise unicorns, crush your opponents) than Conservative politics (which I understand as low taxes, minimal intervention, ‘traditional’ values).

Given that he’s pretty much a comedy caricature, probably yes. Hiding in plain sight seems to be a speciality. I was reminded of this while watching the Crown episode on Anthony Blunt.
