AIBU to send DD back to preschool?

I kept my 3yo daughter at home since Christmas half-term. AIBU to consider sending her back to preschool in February?
The preschool is small with nice outdoor area. I know she'd like to go as she's getting bored at home.

I don't really NEED to send her in, I'm a SAHM. At the same time I recently found out I'm pregnant, so it's putting me at higher risk of the virus but also makes me very very tired and quite sick.
I don't think I've been taking great care of her because of this, but not sure if it really matters if she gets a few more weeks watching lots of My Little Pony versus getting us all ill?

Rates in my town are about 390 per 100k

YABU- keep her at home until after Feb half-term
YANBU- send her in now, go have a nap

@IndecentFeminist

Heaven forbid these mothers offloading their perfectly healthy child to a room full of people paid and trained to care for them. Would you have rathered said child was ill?

You're totally making this up. Either that or your daughter and colleagues aren't very bright.

My daughter was prepared take the risk to care for children with complicated needs and unsafe homes. She was not prepared to take the risk for lazy entitled privileged mothers to enjoy ‘me time’ away from children they don’t want to spend their time with. My daughter is no longer taking that risk. And the nursery today is closed ‘for staffing reasons’. Why don’t you look around you and just count how many nurseries local to you are ‘closed for staffing reasons’ I’m proud of my daughter. She made the right decision

I'm sure "lazy, entitled and privileged mothers" (as you so eloquently put it) are in the minority. Your comment sounds ignorant because you don't know the lives of these parents. Regardless of their lives and what you think of them children are better off at nursery or school.

Most people put a smile on their face regardless of their circumstances anyway so how would your daughter know what they are feeling. Such a closed minded attitude to have.

I picked up my DS from nursery today and one mother had bought her 2 year old to pick up her son. The teacher walked over and knelt down especially to speak to the 2 year old. I was observing her more because of this thread and her demeanour was the look of someone happy. I can say the teachers (at my DS that I have spoken at school) are happy to be there. She was going out of her way to speak to people she didn't need to.

I think your daughter needs to change her attitude. I'm not saying it's not ok to be worried about things, it's the way she is disrespectfully talking about other parents and her general attitude from some of the things you have said on this thread.
