They're not easy to find. Lots of people flogging stuff under his name which isn't his at all. The second link is his sort of Froud World as far as i can tell?

I sometimes hunt the internet for something affordable by Froud. I did it again after posting on this thread. So far i haven't indulged. I do have his Faerie Oracle deck. (Which i can read. Hence MN name). And i do have his Faeries book. And a copy of Are All The Giants Dead (which he illustrated years go), but honestly i think having his work on my actual wall would be amazing but too painful!

This thread us brilliant, some amazing artwork. So glad some of you know The Execution of Lady Jane Grey, none of my friends in real life have a clue about it. Galleries are so important, you can't get the impact from a picture in a book or on the internet that you get from being stood right in front of a piece of artwork. It's just not the same, I look forward to them reopening.

I love it, so dark, dramatic and incredibly sad. You can imagine the atmosphere. Poor Jane Sad

CounsellorTroi I used to have a little print of the Corregio on my bedroom wall when I was fourteen. It's one of the few Madonna And Child paintings where the Christchild actually looks like a real little baby!

@TaraR2020

I hope one day to own a Philip Gray - philipgray.com/

Stunning paintings!

Also love Kevin the Kitten!!

I have a Phillip Gray print. It's of Everest. I think he's amazing - one day I'll own an original!
EmmaJR1 · 26/01/2021 07:39

The favourite piece I own is this painting by Margaret Shaw.

I'm definitely going to get more! She's relatively unknown so her original art isn't too expensive so I'm going to get whilst the going's good!

Thanks @Laiste
I am curious about your work knowing your influences but I guess you won't want to out yourself, not unreasonably!

@FluffyPersian

I adore works by Katy Jade Dobson.

I have this one - the original, in my bedroom.... and another 9 Artist Proof prints in my house. All the peacock ones, some with gold leaf....some abstract

... and I'm currently paying off 3 from her recent collection which should be delivered next month Grin

I really love this work. Bookmarking for when I have money spare.

@Ohjustboreoff

I love Georgia O'Keeffe. I stumbled across a museum to her work when I was on holiday in Santa Fe. So erotic and feminine it just blew me away. I'm more of a fan of her strong coloured works but I'd settle for any! Just have to settle for prints though.
I love that museum as we loved everything in Santa Fe, one of our very favourite places.
