We’ve all suffered. Everyone of us to some degree or another. So with all the doom and gloom, I’m trying to think of things that I will really appreciate/look for to when this fucking nightmare is over!!

So here’s my too 4- ‘looking forward to’s’....

Going out for a meal particularly with friends I’ve not physically seen for a long time and giving them a hug.

Going on holiday would love to go back to New York 🗽

Being able to go for coffee with friends

Meeting up for play dates for my LO’s

Just generally being able to do what we want like we used to.

What things are you looking forward to most?

visiting family
making up for lockdown birthdays

Being able to sleep without worrying about work, income, school, children, dm, health constantly.
A good nights sleep would be good.

A holiday would be better

Being able to get out into the hills that we driiverwyky live near, but not within 5 miles

Hugging my mum and staying in her house (260 miles away), until she is fed up with me.

DS to go stay with his DGPs and to have a night off he'd be so happy to go stay with them, they'd be so happy to have him and I'd be ecstatic to have an undisturbed nights sleep (he's been in with us most nights since this started)

Seeing DH's family as we've not seen any of them in person since late Feb/early March.

Just to know that we'd all got through it safely.

Going Abroad
Going to the pub with friends for dinner
Celebrating birthdays for my DDs that we have missed
Seaside for fish and chips

Getting to cuddle my best best friend, I miss her terribly.

Introducing my baby daughter to all the family and friends who haven’t gotten to meet her

Going to the pub!

Mum and baby groups!

I'm a couple of decades too old for it now but on behalf of the young 'uns I think it will be lovely when those old enough (or old enough to have a convincing fake ID) can pack into nightclubs and shift the face off other young 'uns they've just met. Did they still have the slow set / "erection selection" in clubs pre covid? If not I think it should be brought back to celebrate the end of covid.

Seeing family and hugging them
Visiting friends for cuppa and gossip
My DS being allowed normal play dates etc
Work (secondary school) going back to normal

My DS meeting family and friends

Being able to go into ASDA and look at things again ( DH is the one that drives so it makes no sense for me to leave DS with him in the car for the sake of me going in at the moment).

Trying on clothes that will fit post pregnancy me
Going out on family day trips
